In the title solvated compound, C24H17N5O4·C2H6OS, the solvent molecule, dimethyl sulfoxide, is linked to the title molecule by an N—H...O hydrogen bond. The pyridine ring adopts a twist-boat conformation. The isoxazole ring is inclined to the indoline ring system, the pyrimidine ring, and the phenyl ring by 82.31 (7), 10.41 (8) and 53.77 (10)°, respectively. There is an intramolecular C—H...π interaction present involving the phenyl ring and the indoline ring system. In the crystal, molecules are connected by two pairs of N—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along theb-axis direction, and enclosingR22(8) andR22(14) ring motifs. The chains are linked by C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds and offset π–π interactions, between the pyrimidine and isoxazole rings of inversion-related molecules [centroid–centroid distance = 3.7140 (9) Å], forming a three-dimensional structure.

The title compound, C21H18N2O4, crystallizes with two independent molecules (AandB) in the asymmetric unit. In both molecules the oxazine ring has an envelope conformation with the hydroxyl-substituted C atom as the flap. The nitrobenzyl ring and the phenyl ring are almost normal to the mean plane of the benzooxazine ring system with dihdral angles of 85.72 (15) and 82.69 (15)°, respectively, in molecule A, and 85.79 (15) and 87.72 (15)°, respectively, in molecule B. The main difference in the conformation of the two molecules concerns the dihedral angle between the nitrobenzyl ring and the phenyl ring,viz.79.67 (18) in moleculeAand 71.13 (18)° in moleculeB. In the crystal, theAandBmolecules are linked by an O—H...O hydrogen bond. These units are then linkedviaC—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming sheets lying parallel to (010). Further C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the sheets to form a three-dimensional network. There are also O—H...π and C—H...π interactions present, reinforcing the three-dimensional structure.

The title compound, C14H11N3O2, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The indazole ring system and the nitro group are nearly coplanar, with the largest deviations from the mean plane being 0.070 (4) Å in one molecule and 0.022 (3) Å in the second. The dihedral angle between the mean plane through the phenyl ring and the mean plane of the indazole ring system is of 23.24 (18)° in the first molecule and 26.87 (18)° in the second. In the crystal, molecules are linked by two C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming linear zigzag tapes running along thec-axis direction, and by π–π stacking of molecules along thebaxis, generating a three-dimensional structure.

The title compound, C17H16N2O, consists of a benzodiazepin-2-one moiety substituted with a phenyl ring and an ethyl group. The seven-membered diazepine ring has a boat conformation and the fused benzene ring is nearly perpendicular to the phenyl ring, as indicated by the dihedral angle of 74.90 (8)°. The atoms of the ethyl group are disordered over two sets of sites, with a refined occupancy ratio of 0.603 (15):0.397 (15). In the crystal, molecules are linked by pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers. The dimers are linkedviaa further C—H...O hydrogen bond, forming layers parallel to (001), which are in turn linked by C—H...π interactions, forming a three-dimensional structure.

In the title compound, C11H12N2O2·C4H4O4·H2O, the L-tryptophan molecule crystallized as a zwitterion, together with a neutral fumaric acid molecule and a water solvent molecule. In the crystal, the three components are linked by a series of N—H...O, O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming slabs lying parallel to (001). The slabs are connected by O—H...O hydrogen bonds, involving inversion-related fumaric acid groups, leading to the formation of a three-dimensional structure.
