This study aims to assist in the search for lontar images with Information Retrieval System built using the Vector Space Model method. The search system testing resulted in a lontar search system that received recall values: 75.4% and precision: 100% based on the graph of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis. Testing with System Usability Scale (SUS) tested at the Bali Provincial Culture Office got the highest score on statement point 1, 5 and 7 which reached 42.

Speed and density in the process of finding documents and information has become mandatory, contained in information systems, to facilitate the search process or find documents and information needed, it is called information retrieval or information retrieval system, implementation of the theory applied in this study using the model method vector space, the purpose of this study is to provide general exposure to the process of finding digital documents. With the token and indexing process so that the results of the masses are found in the database using keywords, so the system will search according to the keywords input into the system, and will be compared with the data contained in the database, so that it can produce the correct information.

Information retrieval is used to search for relevant documents so that they can be obtained quickly and precisely. There are many Christians who want to study the gospel. However, often experience problems in finding the Gospel verse and topics dealing with the need to search by the user. Therefore, have to search individually, each verse in the four Gospels to find the topic or verse that the user wants to find out. In this study, the authors used the Bible verses in the Gospels as documents, so that these verses could be searched for the level of relevance or similarity to the entered keywords. Furthermore, to determine the level of relevance between documents and keywords is calculated using the Vector Space Model. Based on the application that has been successfully built, the application can be show 10 documents related to the keywords that are searched and sorted from the most relevant, with the highest similarity value, namely 78.65%.Keywords - Information Retrieval, Vector Space Model, Bible.

Abstrak - Sistem temu kembali informasi (information retrieval system)merupakan sistem yang digunakan untuk menemukan informasi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dari penggunanya, dengan menerapkan sistem tersebut permasalahan pencarian informasi dokumen skripsi bisa memberikan hasil yang relevan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Terdapat dua proses utama dalam sistem temu kembali informasi yaitu indexing dan retrieval. Proses indexing adalah proses untuk memberikan bobot pada kata dalam dokumen, metode pembobotan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode pembobotan TF-IDF. Prosesretrieval adalah proses untuk menghitung kemiripan query terhadap dokumen, perhitungan kemiripan menggunakan konsepvector space modeldengan mencari nilai cosine similarity.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan pengindeksan otomatis untuk membangun sistem pencarian dokumen di dalam sebuah system penyimpanan dokumen dengan konsep temu-kembali informasi. Kata kunci : Information retrieval,Term Frequncy Inverse Document Frequency, Vector Space Model.
