A 1++ partial wave exists in two-gluon and (or) photon fermion pair transmutation
Arguments based on unitarity and analyticity suggest that there is no 1++ partial wave in a process such as e+e− 1 γγ 1 μ+μ−. This note demonstrates that, in fact, such a partial wave does exist. Reasons for the apparent breakdown of traditional arguments are briefly discussed.
