SEARCH FOR THE DECAY Bs→μ+μ -ϕ IN $p\bar p$  COLLISIONS AT $\sqrt{s} =1.8\, {\rm TeV}$

We present a search for the flavor-changing neutral current decay Bs→ μ+μ-ϕ in [Formula: see text] collisions at [Formula: see text], using 91.4 pb-1 of data collected at the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF). We find two candicate events for this decay, which is consistent with the background estimate, and set a preliminary upper limit on the branching fraction of ℬ(Bs → μ+ μ-ϕ)<4.2 · 10-5 at a 90% confidence level.

We report search results for flavor-changing neutral current process b → dγ with a data sample containing 275 million B meson pairs accumulated at ϒ(4S) resonance. We studied the exclusive decays B+ → ρ+γ, B0 → ρ0γ and B0 → ωγ, and find no significant signal. We set an upper limit for combined branching fraction [Formula: see text] at 90% confidence level.

Over 120 terabytes of data were collected during the 1997 and 1999 runs of Fermilab E871 (HyperCP). From these data we expect to reconstruct more than 1 billion cascade hyperon decays, 100 million charged kaon decays, and 10 million omega hyperon decays. These data provide new sensitivity to lepton number violation in hyperon decays, and independent confirmation of the flavor changing neutral current decay of a charged kaon to a pion and two muons.
