Abstract CARPENTER AMS 5700 is an austenitic chromium-nickel-tungsten valve steel which offers good high-temperature properties and resistance to corrosion in exhaust valves. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
