The aim of this paper is to study a common fixed point theorem for three pairs of self-mappings satisfying a contractive condition of integral type in the setting of dislocated metric space. We notice that our established theorem generalizes the main result of Branciari (2002) in the context of dislocated metric space.

We introduce the concept ofφ-weakly commuting self-mapping pairs inG-metric space. Using this concept, we establish a new common fixed point theorem of Altman integral type for six self-mappings in the framework of completeG-metric space. An example is provided to support our result. The results obtained in this paper differ from the recent relative results in the literature.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of compatible mappings of type (A) on a metric space, which is equivalent to the concept of compatible mappings under some conditions, and give a common fixed point theorem of Meir and Keeler type. Our result extends, generalized and improves some results of Meir-Keeler, Park-Bae, Park-Rhoades, Pant and Rao-Rao, etc.

We prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of generalized Bose-Mukherjee-type fuzzy mappings in a complete metric space. An example is also provided to support the main result presented herein.

In the present paper we establish a common fixed point theorem and apply it to find new best approximation results for ordered subcompatible mappings in the hyperbolic ordered metric space. Our results unify, generalize and complement various known results.
