In this manuscript, the aim is to prove a multiple fixed point (FP) result for partially ordered s -distance spaces under θ , ϕ , ψ -type weak contractive condition. The result will generalize some well-known results in literature such as coupled FP (Guo and Lakshmikantham, 1987), triple fixed point (Berinde and Borcut, 2011), and quadruple FP results (Karapinar, 2011). Moreover, to validate the result, an application for the existence of solution of a system of integral equations is also provided.

The objective of the research article is two-fold. Firstly, we present a fixed point result in the context of triple controlled metric type spaces with a distinctive contractive condition involving the controlled functions. Secondly, we consider an initial value problem associated with a nonlinear Volterra–Fredholm integro-dynamic equation and examine the existence and uniqueness of solutions via fixed point theorem in the setting of complete triple controlled metric type spaces. Furthermore, the theorem is applied to illustrate the existence of a unique solution to an integro-dynamic equation.

In this manuscript, we generalize, improve, and enrich recent results established by Budhia et al. [L. Budhia, H. Aydi, A.H. Ansari, D. Gopal, Some new fixed point results in rectangular metric spaces with application to fractional-order functional differential equations, Nonlinear Anal. Model. Control, 25(4):580–597, 2020]. This paper aims to provide much simpler and shorter proofs of some results in rectangular metric spaces. According to one of our recent lemmas, we show that the given contractive condition yields Cauchyness of the corresponding Picard sequence. The obtained results improve well-known comparable results in the literature. Using our new approach, we prove that a Picard sequence is Cauchy in the framework of rectangular metric spaces. Our obtained results complement and enrich several methods in the existing state-ofart. Endorsing the materiality of the presented results, we also propound an application to dynamic programming associated with the multistage process.

In this paper, the concept of F-contraction was generalized for cone metric spaces over topological left modules and some fixed point results were obtained for self-mappings satisfying a contractive condition of this type. Some applications of the main result to the study of the existence and uniqueness of the solutions for certain types of integral equations were presented in the last part of the article, one of them being a fractional integral equation.

AbstractThis study introduces extended Branciari quasi-b-distance spaces, a novel implicit contractive condition in the underlying space, and basic fixed-point results, a weak well-posed property, a weak limit shadowing property and generalized Ulam–Hyers stability. The given notions and results are exemplified by suitable models. We apply these results to obtain a sufficient condition ensuring the existence of a unique positive-definite solution of a nonlinear matrix equation (NME) $\mathcal{X}=\mathcal{Q} + \sum_{i=1}^{k}\mathcal{A}_{i}^{*} \mathcal{G(X)}\mathcal{A}_{i}$ X = Q + ∑ i = 1 k A i ∗ G ( X ) A i , where $\mathcal{Q}$ Q is an $n\times n$ n × n Hermitian positive-definite matrix, $\mathcal{A}_{1}$ A 1 , $\mathcal{A}_{2}$ A 2 , …, $\mathcal{A}_{m}$ A m are $n \times n$ n × n matrices, and $\mathcal{G}$ G is a nonlinear self-mapping of the set of all Hermitian matrices that are continuous in the trace norm. We demonstrate this sufficient condition for the NME $\mathcal{X}= \mathcal{Q} +\mathcal{A}_{1}^{*}\mathcal{X}^{1/3} \mathcal{A}_{1}+\mathcal{A}_{2}^{*}\mathcal{X}^{1/3} \mathcal{A}_{2}+ \mathcal{A}_{3}^{*}\mathcal{X}^{1/3}\mathcal{A}_{3}$ X = Q + A 1 ∗ X 1 / 3 A 1 + A 2 ∗ X 1 / 3 A 2 + A 3 ∗ X 1 / 3 A 3 , and visualize this through convergence analysis and a solution graph.

AbstractWe propose a new class of implicit relations and an implicit type contractive condition based on it in the relational metric spaces under w-distance functional. Further we derive fixed points results based on them. Useful examples illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of the presented results. We apply these results to discuss sufficient conditions ensuring the existence of a unique positive definite solution of the nonlinear matrix equation (NME) of the form $\mathcal{U}=\mathcal{Q} + \sum_{i=1}^{k}\mathcal{A}_{i}^{*} \mathcal{G}\mathcal{(U)}\mathcal{A}_{i}$ U = Q + ∑ i = 1 k A i ∗ G ( U ) A i , where $\mathcal{Q}$ Q is an $n\times n$ n × n Hermitian positive definite matrix, $\mathcal{A}_{1}$ A 1 , $\mathcal{A}_{2}$ A 2 , …, $\mathcal{A}_{m}$ A m are $n \times n$ n × n matrices and $\mathcal{G}$ G is a nonlinear self-mapping of the set of all Hermitian matrices which are continuous in the trace norm. In order to demonstrate the obtained conditions, we consider an example together with convergence and error analysis and visualisation of solutions in a surface plot.

Abstract The convergence of sequences and non-unique fixed points are established in ℳ-orbitally complete cone metric spaces over the strongly mini-hedral cone, and scalar weighted cone assuming the cone to be strongly mini-hedral. Appropriate examples and applications validate the established theory. Further, we provide one more answer to the question of the existence of the contractive condition in Cone metric spaces so that the fixed point is at the point of discontinuity of a map. Also, we provide a negative answer to a natural question of whether the contractive conditions in the obtained results can be replaced by its metric versions.

In recent years, complex-valued fuzzy metric spaces (in short CVFMS) were introduced by Shukla et al. (Fixed Point Theory 32 (2018)). This setting is a valuable extension of fuzzy metric spaces with the complex grade of membership function. They also established fixed-point results under contractive condition in the aforementioned spaces and generalized some essential existence results in fixed-point theory. The purpose of this manuscript is to derive some fixed-point results for multivalued mappings enjoying the least upper bound property in CVFMS. Furthermore, we studied the existence theorem for a unique solution to the Fuzzy fractional Volterra–Fredholm integro-differential equations (FCFVFIDEs) as an application to our derived result involving the Caputo derivative.

In this paper, we introduce fixed point theorem for a general contractive condition in complex valued metric spaces. Also, some important corollaries under this contractive condition areobtained. As an application, we find a unique solution for Urysohn integral equations and some illustrative examples are given to support our obtaining results. Our results extend and generalize the results of Azam et al. [2] and some other known results in the literature.

The purpose of this work is to introduce a new class of implicit relation and implicit type contractive condition in metric spaces under w -distance functional. Further, we derive fixed point results under a new class of contractive condition followed by three suitable examples. Next, we discuss results about weak well-posed property, weak limit shadowing property, and generalized w -Ulam-Hyers stability of the mappings of a given type. Finally, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for fractional differential equations as an application of the main result.
