A high performance LiMn0.9Fe0.1PO4 coated by conductive polyacene was prepared successfully and showed excellent electrochemical performance. The capacity fading mechanism during cycling is discussed for the lithium manganese phosphate class cathode materials.

Porous LiMnPO4/C composite nanofibers show excellent electrochemical performance including a high reversible capacity of 112.7 mA h g−1 and stable cycle retention of 95% after 100 cycles.
