A search has been made for very high energy photons from the direction of the Crab Pulsar using the Lodz extensive air shower array. This device is particularly suitable for such a study because it consists of a large muon detector which can be used to search for the characteristic muon poor showers.

An attempt is being made to extend the search for high energy y-rays from point sources to much higher energies by using the method based on investigation of the muon-poor extensive air showers. A search has been made for very high energy photons from the direction of the Crab pulsar (the best known high energy y-ray source) by using the Lodz extensive air shower array. The device is particularly suitable for such a study because it consists of a large muon detector which can be used to search for the characteristic muon-poor showers.

First a unitarization procedure for an amplitude with the asymptotic behavior of the Lipatov Pomeron is presented; it amounts to its iteration along the s-channel. Next, based on this procedure, a specific model is considered and applied to the description of elastic scattering data at very high energies; it is shown that it leads to a fair description of them.
