The excitation control system of variable speed constantfrequency(VSCF)doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG)for wind turbine was developed,the excitation controller was achieved using fuzzy-PID control. Based on these,the variable-speed constant-frequency DFIG running in the whole working wind speed range is studied by simulations.Fast response, small overshoot, high precision, strong adaptability and highly robustness are obtained by the proposed strategy.
