Breast cancer is the most common tumor among women, and approximately 6% of the patients have de novo metastatic breast cancer. Occult breast cancer accounts for only 0.1–0.8% of the cases and most commonly presents with axillary lymphadenopathy. Scalp metastases are rare and have been described as a sign of progression or widespread metastatic disease. Here, we describe a rare case of de novo metastatic breast cancer to the scalp as the single site of spread and without an identifiable primary breast tumor.

Hemolytic anemia in the setting of malignancy is a rare manifestation of paraneoplastic syndrome with significant morbidity. Here we discuss a case involving metastatic breast cancer presenting with severe hemolytic anemia and renal failure secondary to thrombotic microangiopathy of malignancy. This case discusses the workup for secondary hemolytic anemia, a possible role for therapeutic plasma exchange in this setting, as well the current understanding of the management of microangiopathic hemolytic anemia of malignancy.

The metastatic breast cancer to the duodenum is rare in spite of common breast cancer. In this paper, we are reporting a rare case of 50-year-old lady who presented with intestinal obstruction as result of metastatic breast cancer which completely responds to chemotherapy. The tumor presents again as brain metastasis after stop of Herceptin due to cardiac toxicity.
