Numerical simulation has been carried out for laminar uniform flow or Couette flow with fibers, which is described with pearl-necklace models. The SHAKE algorithm has been refined in order to simulate the flexibility of fibers. The refined algorithm has been applied to the pearl-necklace model. The computational results show that the flexibility of fibers can be simulated by changing the constraint condition of the angle formed by three adjacent beads in a suitable range. The entanglement of fibers is found to be predicted by considering the effect of collision between the beads belonged to a different model.
