AbstractLet X be a monoid scheme. We will show that the stalk at any point of X defines a point of the topos of quasi-coherent sheaves over X. As it turns out, every topos point of is of this form if X satisfies some finiteness conditions. In particular, it suffices for M/M× to be finitely generated when X is affine, where M× is the group of invertible elements.This allows us to prove that two quasi-projective monoid schemes X and Y are isomorphic if and only if and are equivalent.The finiteness conditions are essential, as one can already conclude by the work of A. Connes and C. Consani [3]. We will study the topos points of free commutative monoids and show that already for ℕ∞, there are ‘hidden’ points. That is to say, there are topos points which are not coming from prime ideals. This observation reveals that there might be a more interesting ‘geometry of monoids’.

A convex subnearlattice of a nearlattice S containing a fixed element n?S is called an n-ideal. The n-ideal generated by a single element is called a principal n-ideal. The set of finitely generated principal n-ideals is denoted by Pn(S), which is a nearlattice. A distributive nearlattice S with 0 is called m-normal if its every prime ideal contains at most m number of minimal prime ideals. In this paper, we include several characterizations of those Pn(S) which form m-normal nearlattices. We also show that Pn(S) is m-normal if and only if for any m+1 distinct minimal prime n-ideals Po,P1,…., Pm of S, Po ? … ? Pm = S. AbstractFor an exact category having enough projective objects, we establish a bijection between thick subcategories containing the projective objects and thick subcategories of the stable derived category. Using this bijection, we classify thick subcategories of finitely generated modules over strict local complete intersections and produce generators for the category of coherent sheaves on a separated Noetherian scheme with an ample family of line bundles.

For [Formula: see text], let [Formula: see text] be the set of all [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text] In this paper, we prove that the sets [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] do not depend on [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see text]. We show that the annihilators [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] are eventually stable, where [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see text]. As an application, we prove the asymptotic stability of some loci contained in the non-Cohen–Macaulay locus of [Formula: see text].

One of the main results of this note is that the sequence of sets (AttA(0:Eαn))n∈Nis ultimately constant. This result is analogous to a theorem of M. Let k be a field, let R be a noetherian k-algebra of finite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension GK(R), and let M be a finitely generated right R-module. A standard prime factor series for M is a finite sequence of submodules 0 = N0 ⊂ N1 ⊂…⊂ Ni−1 ⊂ Ni ⊂.… ⊂ Nn = M, such that for each i the annihilator Pi = rR (Ni/Ni−1) is the unique associated prime of Ni/Ni−1 and GK(R/Pi)≤ GK(R/Pj) whenever i≤ j. The set of prime ideals arising from such a series is an invariant of M, called the set of standard primes St(M) of M. The concept, inspired by the notion of a standard affiliated series introduced by Lenagan and Warfield in [7], has been developed in [5], where it was shown that St(M) coincides with the set of all those prime ideals that are minimal over the annihilator of a nonzero submodule of M.

The notion of Hochschild cochains induces an assignment from $\mathsf{Aff}$ , affine DG schemes, to monoidal DG categories. We show that this assignment extends, under appropriate finiteness conditions, to a functor $\mathbb{H}:\mathsf{Aff}\rightarrow \mathsf{Alg}^{\text{bimod}}(\mathsf{DGCat})$ , where the latter denotes the category of monoidal DG categories and bimodules. Any functor $\mathbb{A}:\mathsf{Aff}\rightarrow \mathsf{Alg}^{\text{bimod}}(\mathsf{DGCat})$ gives rise, by taking modules, to a theory of sheaves of categories $\mathsf{ShvCat}^{\mathbb{A}}$ . In this paper, we study $\mathsf{ShvCat}^{\mathbb{H}}$ . Loosely speaking, this theory categorifies the theory of $\mathfrak{D}$ -modules, in the same way as Gaitsgory’s original $\mathsf{ShvCat}$ categorifies the theory of quasi-coherent sheaves. We develop the functoriality of $\mathsf{ShvCat}^{\mathbb{H}}$ , its descent properties and the notion of $\mathbb{H}$ -affineness. We then prove the $\mathbb{H}$ -affineness of algebraic stacks: for ${\mathcal{Y}}$ a stack satisfying some mild conditions, the $\infty$ -category $\mathsf{ShvCat}^{\mathbb{H}}({\mathcal{Y}})$ is equivalent to the $\infty$ -category of modules for $\mathbb{H}({\mathcal{Y}})$ , the monoidal DG category of higher differential operators. The main consequence, for ${\mathcal{Y}}$ quasi-smooth, is the following: if ${\mathcal{C}}$ is a DG category acted on by $\mathbb{H}({\mathcal{Y}})$ , then ${\mathcal{C}}$ admits a theory of singular support in $\operatorname{Sing}({\mathcal{Y}})$ , where $\operatorname{Sing}({\mathcal{Y}})$ is the space of singularities of ${\mathcal{Y}}$ . As an application to the geometric Langlands programme, we indicate how derived Satake yields an action of $\mathbb{H}(\operatorname{LS}_{{\check{G}}})$ on $\mathfrak{D}(\operatorname{Bun}_{G})$ , thereby equipping objects of $\mathfrak{D}(\operatorname{Bun}_{G})$ with singular support in $\operatorname{Sing}(\operatorname{LS}_{{\check{G}}})$ .

Let R be a commutative Noetherian Nagata ring, let M be a non-zero finitely generated R-module, and let I be an ideal of R such that height MI > 0. In this paper, there is a definition of the integral closure Na for any submodule N of M extending Rees' definition for the case of a domain. As the main results, it is shown that the operation N → Na on the set of submodules N of M is a semi-prime operation, and for any submodule N of M, the sequences Ass R M/(InN)a and Ass R (InM)a/(InN)a(n=1,2,…) of associated prime ideals are increasing and ultimately constant for large n.

We give an algorithmic method for computing a presentation of any finitely generated submonoid of a finitely generated commutative monoid. We use this method also for calculating the intersection of two congruences on ℕp and for deciding whether or not a given finitely generated commutative monoid is t-torsion free and/or separative. The last section is devoted to the resolution of some simple equations on a finitely generated commutative monoid.
