The precipitation sequence upon ageing of supersaturated α Cu-Be has been published by many authors. Tlie sequence in highly super-cooled alloys is: α → GP zone → γ″ → γ′ → γ. The present paper will demonstrate the precipitation sequence in under- and super-saturated solid solutions under electron-irradiation in HVEM.
