The crystal structure of the title compound, C19H17ClN4OS, has been determined in order to elucidate the molecular conformation. The pyrazole ring makes dihedral angles of 74.3 (3)° and 2.9 (3)° with the phenyl and tolyl rings, respectively; these two six-membered rings are twisted by 71.6 (3)° with respect to each other. The crystal packing of the title compound is stabilized by intramolcular N—H...O and intermolcular N—H...S hydrogen bonds.

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C21H14FN5, the pyrazole ring forms dihedral angles of 38.0 (1), 40.0 (1) and 28.5 (1)° with the directly attached 4-fluorophenyl, pyridine and benzonitrile rings, respectively. The crystal packing is characterized by N—H...N hydrogen bonds, which result in a two-dimensional network parallel to theac-plane.

The title compound, C21H17N7O4, is in an `extended' conformation aided by an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond. The pyrazole ring makes dihedral angles of 29.17 (6), 65.47 (4) and 9.91 (7)°, respectively, with the phenyl, pyrrole and benzene rings. In the crystal, molecules are connected by pairs of N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers which associate into ribbons running along thebaxis through complementary C—H...O interactions.

In the structure of the title compound, C46H37N3O4S, the planes of the two isoindoline units make a dihedral angle of 77.86 (3)°. The dihedral angles between the benzyl plane and the isoindoline units are 79.56 (4) and 3.74 (9)°. The geometry at the S atom shows a short [1.7748 (17) Å] S—Cbenzyland a long [1.8820 (15) Å] S—Ctritylbond and the C—S—C angle is 108.40 (7)°. N—C bond lengths around the azane N atom are in the range 1.454 (2)–1.463 (2) Å. he crystal packing exhibts two rather `non-classical' C—H...O hydrogen bonds that result in stacking of the molecules along theaas well as thebaxis and give rise to columnar sub-structures.

In the title compound, C15H20BrNO2, there are two independent molecules (AandB) comprising the asymmetric unit and these adopt very similar conformations. InA, the dihedral angle between the CO2and MeC=CMe2groups is 80.7 (3)°, and these make dihedral angles of 3.5 (3) and 84.09 (16)°, respectively, with the bromobenzene ring. The equivalent dihedral angles for moleculeBare 78.4 (3), 2.1 (3) and 78.37 (12)°, respectively. The most prominent interactions in the crystal packing are amine-N—H...O(carbonyl) hydrogen bonds between the two independent molecules, resulting in non-centrosymmetric ten-membered {...OC2NH}2synthons. Statistical disorder is noted for each of the terminal methyl groups of the ethyl residues.

In the title compound, C23H18N2O2, the pyrazole ring subtends dihedral angles of 2.01 (13) and 1.55 (10)° with the pendant benzene ring and the naphthalene ring system, respectively. The molecule is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation for the 27 non-H atoms = 0.025 Å) and intramolecular O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds both closeS(6) loops. In the crystal, very weak aromatic π–π stacking interactions between the benzene and the pyrazole rings, with centroid–centroid distances of 3.8913 (14) and 3.9285 (15) Å, are observed.

The title compound, C19H21N3O, comprises a central pyrazole ring which is N-connected to an aldehyde group and C-connected twice to substituted benzene rings. The pyrazole ring is twisted on the C—C single bond, and the least-squares plane through this ring forms dihedral angles of 82.44 (5) and 4.52 (5)° with the (dimethylamino)benzene andp-tolyl rings, respectively. The title compound, C15H14N4O, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit with similar conformations (r.m.s. overlay fit for the 20 non-H atoms = 0.175 Å). In the first molecule, the dihedral angles between the planes of the central pyrazole ring and the pendant phenyl and pyrrole rings are 42.69 (8) and 51.88 (6)°, respectively, with corresponding angles of 54.49 (7) and 49.61 (9)°, respectively, in the second molecule. In the crystal, the two molecules, together with their inversion-symmetry counterparts, are linked into tetramers by O—H...N hydrogen bonds. The tetramers form layers parallel to (211) through pairwise C—H...π interactions.
