With the Influence of disaster factor on power system reliability become more and more significant, traditional deterministic risk analysis method has been difficult to adapt to power system risk assessment in changing disaster conditions. This paper puts disaster factor into power system risk assessment, and use improved Monte Carlo method to analyze the risk of all possible states of the system. Combined with online short-term assessment technology, based on the integration of multiple data sources, it uses several typical risk indexes for power system risk assessment under the impact of disaster conditions, then shows power grid operation risk, security warning information and weakness information. The system has been applied to practical power system to verify its scientific and practical design.

As the interconnected power grid becomes increasingly complicated and external environment is changeable, the difficulty of power grid dispatching is increased. Thus, the forecasting track of power grid operation state based on risk assessment can be used to predict the operation trend of power grid state and provide a reference for real-time operation state and guide power grid dispatching. Based on overall power grid risk index system, the operation trend for a period in the future is predicted to diagnose the state of power grid by using fuzzy inference, fuzzy clustering and AHP. In this paper, Ningxia Power Grid is simulated as an example to describe the forecasting track of its operation state in the next 100 minutes. The results present that the track can be used to analyze the causes, which increase or decrease the risk degree of overall power grid, then major leading factors are specifically analyzed. And the track can be also used as guidance for dispatching operators to take measures. Furthermore, the track is proved to be reasonable.

Recently the power grid at home and abroad are faced with the challenge of natural disasters, to guarantee the safe and stable operation of power grid is the key. In this paper, through the grid risk identification and vulnerability analysis, the degrees of power grid risk in different regions are presented. According to index selection principle, natural disaster risk assessment index system for power grid is put forward. The interpretation of the indexes are made. It provides a theoretical support for natural disaster risk assessment for power grid in the future.
