Several potential COVID-19 therapeutic approaches and SARS-CoV-2 vaccines have been investigated, and final clinical reports are gradually becoming available. In this mini-review, we discussed the history of selected potential therapeutic drugs and newly designed vaccines, as well as other approaches for the COVID-19 treatment, and made a primary evaluation of their clinical effects. Finally, according to the nature of coronavirus we posed a promising design to against the SARS-CoV-2 by the chemi-physical methods through carbon nano-materials modification.

: Calcium carbide(CaC2) as an important raw material has been widely used in inorganic chemistry, nano materials, supra molecular and other fields. In recent years, calcium carbide has been applied as an inexpensive, safe, green, and sustainable acetylene source in organic synthesis. This mini review summarizes the latest progress of calcium carbide as a surrogate of acetylene gas in organic reactions for the construction of C-C, C-N, C-S, and C-O bonds.

Recent advances in nano-materials and nanotechnology have paved the way for building integrated devices with a nanometric size, named nano-nodes. These nano-nodes are composed of nano-processor, nano-memory, nano-batteries, nano-transceiver, nano-antenna and nano-sensors, which operate at nano-scale level. They are able to perform simple tasks, such as sensing, computing and actuation. The interconnection between microdevices and nanonodes/nanosensors has enabled the development of a new network standard, called Wireless Nano-Sensors Network (WNSN). This paper provides an in-depth review of WNSN, its architectures, application areas, and challenges, which need to be addressed, while identifying opportunities for their implementation in various application domains.
