UNSTRUCTURED During the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, cardiologists have attempted to minimize risks to their patients by using telehealth to provide continuing care. Rapid implementation of video consultations in outpatient clinics for patients with heart disease can be challenging. We employed a design thinking tool called a customer journey to explore challenges and opportunities when using video communication software in the cardiology department of a regional hospital. Interviews were conducted with 5 patients with implanted devices, a nurse, an information technology manager and two cardiologists. Three lessons were identified based on these challenges and opportunities. Attention should be given to the ease of use of the technology, the meeting features, and the establishment of the connection between the cardiologist and the patient. Further, facilitating the role of an assistant (or virtual assistant) with the video consultation software who can manage the telehealth process may improve the success of video consultations. Employing design thinking to implement video consultations in cardiology and to further implement telehealth is crucial to build a resilient health care system that can address urgent needs beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

Firstly, this paper introduced infrared detecting and tracking system (IR D&T System) and several commonly used scanning solutions in IR D&T System briefly. Secondly, it analyzed how 2D scanning mirror works and PID (Proportion, Integration and Differentiation) algorithm. Thirdly, it introduced commands format and controlling method of the 2D scanning mirror used in image-spectrum integrated instrument developed by our group. And then it designed controlling software of the 2D scanning mirror using its secondary development package (SDK) and VC++. The software communicates with 2D scanning mirror through serial port. The MSCOMM serial communication control is used in communication software design. The controlling software is integrated to software of image-spectrum integrated instrument successfully and experiment results verified the correctness of controlling algorithm and engineering usability of the software.

Based on the remote maintenance of motor exciation, this paper discusses the function design and solution method of communication software which is used in remote monitoring system of motor exciation. It mainly introduces the process of data transmission founded on the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and key problems of the implementation of communication MSComm control in VC++.
