Eight species of the subgenus Chlaenioctenus of genus Chlaenius are recognized from Asia, with two new species described from China: Chlaenius (Chlaenioctenus) piligenys Liu and Liang, new species (type locality: Taiwan), and C. (C.) rotundithorax Liu and Kavanaugh, new species (type locality: Yunnan). Two species, C. (C.) freyi Jedlička, 1960 and C. (C.) pectinipes Bates, 1892 are redescribed based on type specimens. Photographs of C. (C.) schillhammeri Kirschenhofer, 2003 and a key to all known species of subgenus Chlaenioctenus are provided.

The Oriental genus of Eurybrachidae (Hemiptera, Fulgoromorpha) Purusha Distant, 1906 is reviewed and a key to the genera of Eurybrachini is given. Two new species, P. bellissima sp. nov. and P. vietnamica sp. nov. are described from Myanmar and North Vietnam, respectively. Purusha rubromaculata Distant, 1906 is proposed as a junior synonym of P. reversa (Hope, 1843). All species are illustrated, including all type specimens and the male genitalia for the first time. Distribution maps, identification key to species and biological data are provided. The sexual dimorphism in the genus is discussed. Five species are currently placed in Purusha.

The Oriental genus Physodera Eschscholtz, 1829 is revised. A key to species is provided, along with distribution maps, and illustrations of habitus and male genitalia of all available species. Two new species are described: Physodera sciakyi sp. n. (type locality: S. Sulawesi, Indonesia), and Physodera unicolor sp. n. (type locality: Zhejiang, China). Three new synonyms are proposed: Physodera parvicollis Van de Poll, 1889 = Physodera eschscholtzii Parry, 1849, Allocota sumatrensis Kirschenhofer, 1996 = Physodera eschscholtzii Parry, 1849, and Physodera noctiluca Mohnike, 1875= Physodera dejeani Eschscholtz, 1829.

A new pardaliscid amphipod, Nicippe beringensis, is described from the Bering Sea at depths between 520 and 536 m, and N. tumida Bruzelius, 1859 is redescribed based on specimens from Fredrikshald, Norway, near the species’ type locality. Nucleotide sequences of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) from the holotype and a paratype of N. beringensissp. nov. are reported. While N. beringensissp. nov. is similar to N. tumida, it differs from the latter in having an asetose palp article 1 of maxilla 1, a gnathopod 1 coxa with a straight distal edge, and in the posterior margin of the basis of gnathopods 1 and 2, and pereopod 3, being heavily setose in females. A key to species of Nicippe is provided.

Two new species of Bibloplectus Reitter, 1881 are described from the Orlando Park Collection of Pselaphinae at the FMNH (Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago, IL, USA): Bibloplectus silvestris Owens and Carlton, new species (type locality, Urbana, IL, USA) and Bibloplectus wingi Owens and Carlton, new species (type locality, Shades State Park, IN, USA). Types of these new species were part of a series of specimens bearing unpublished Park manuscript names in both the pinned and slide collection at the FMNH. They bring the total number of species in the genus in eastern North America to twenty-three. Resolving these manuscript names adds to previous efforts to uncover elements of the hidden diversity of North American Bibloplectus from museum collections (Owens and Carlton 2016, Owens and Carlton 2017) and highlights the importance of close examination of the Orlando Park pselaphine collection as a valuable historic and taxonomic resource.

A key to the species of Pison from China is provided, along with illustrations of the new species. Type specimens of the new species are deposited in Yunnan Agricultural University.

Abstract Two new species of Aphanonchus are described from Germany and Ivory Coast. Aphanonchus europaeus sp. n., from Germany, is best characterised by 1.1-1.4 mm long body, presence of 50-96 lateral epidermal glands; female without neck setae, with straight vagina without sclerotisations and three to nine prevulval alveoli; male with a pair of neck setae, 15 tubular and 20 alveolar supplements, one pair of precloacal and four pairs of caudal setae, 39 μm long spicules. Aphanonchus africanus sp. n., from Ivory Coast, is characterised by 1.0-1.3 mm long body, presence of 37 to 71 lateral epidermal glands; female with a pair of neck setae, straight to slightly sinuous vagina without sclerotisations, and without alveoli; male with a pair of neck setae, 12-18 tubular and 54-80 alveolar supplements, a pair of precloacal and four pairs of caudal setae, 35.5-43 μm long spicules. Morphological data, based on specimens of A. bayensis from Costa Rica, A. multipapillatus from Colombia and Suriname, A. obesus from Ivory Coast and the type locality in Vietnam, and type specimens of A. longiceras, are presented and supplement the descriptions of these four species. An emended diagnosis and a revised classification of Aphanonchus are proposed and a key to the species of the genus is provided.

A new genus of the tribe Scaphoideini from China, Changbaninus gen. nov., including two new species: Changbaninus furcatus sp. nov. (type species) and Changbaninus pleiospicules sp. nov. are described and illustrated, and a key to species is provided. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC).

The article describes a new genus, Laberlia (type species − Langsdorfia bellaria Dognin, 1911), including three species, distributed in northern and central Andes (the territory of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru). We establish a new combination: Laberlia bellaria (Dognin, 1911) comb. nov. Two new species are described: Laberlia illapai Yakovlev, Naydenov, Penco sp. nov. (type locality − Ecuador, Morona Santiago, 55 km Road Rio Bamba-Macas) and Laberlia apusorum Yakovlev, Naydenov, Penco sp. nov. (type locality – Peru, La Libertad, Pataz prov., S of Tayabamba). The article is illustrated with images of type specimens and male genital structures, the distribution map is provided.

Two new species, Phytocoris (Compsocerocoris) amardus sp. nov. and Phytocoris (Compsocerocoris) hyrcaniaensis sp. nov. are described from Guilan province, Iran. Description, diagnoses, male color habitus image and illustrations of male genitalia are presented for each taxon to aid in unequivocal identification. A revised taxonomic key to the species of subgenus Compsocerocoris Reuter known in Iran is also provided. The type specimens were deposited in the insect collection of the University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran.

Two new species of Bathycopea Tattersall, 1905 are described from Japan. Bathycopea oculata sp. nov. differs from its congeners in having laterally rounded pleonite 1, well-developed eye lobes with 43–57 ommatidia, uropod about 4–4.7 times as long as wide, blunt and broadly rounded distal corner of carpus of pereopod 1, and the propodus of male pereopod 2 about 2.9 times as long as carpus. Bathycopea dicarina sp. nov. is distinctive in having pleotelson with two dorsal carinae and the merus and carpus of male pereopod 2 slightly longer than ischium. Bathycopea parallela Birstein, 1963 is redescribed using newly collected specimens from the region of the type locality. A key to species of the genus is provided.
