The first record of Phyllobius cylindricollis Gyllenhal, 1834 (Curculionidae: Entiminae: Phyllobiini) from Altaiskii Krai, Western Siberia is given. They are the most eastern finds of this species. The illustrations, redescription and distribution map of Ph. cylindricollis are presented.

A new species, Caenorhinus (Flavodeporaus) nahangensis Legalov, sp. nov. from North Vietnam is described and illustrated. This new species is similar to Caenorhinus (Flavodeporaus) lobanovi Legalov, 2021 Laos but differs from it in the different body coloration, narrower rostrum, very weakly curved mesotibiae, densely punctate elytral interstriae, obtuse apex of the aedeagus, and the form of the basal sclerite. From C. nigrobasalis Legalov, 2003, it is distinguish in the narrower rostrum, finely punctate forehead, greenish elytra, red ventrites 4 and 5, pygidium and propygidium, obtuse apex of the aedeagus, and the form of the basal sclerite.

A new species, Eremochorus (Eremochorus) kuraicus Legalov, sp. nov. from Kosh-Agach District, South-eastern Russian Altai of Western Siberia is described and illustrated. This species is similar to E. mikhailovi Legalov, 2007 from Central Altai but differs from it in the longer rostrum with distinct middle carina, longer elytra and the aedeagus. A distribution map for E. kuraicus Legalov, sp. nov. and E. mikhailovi is given.

A new species of the genus Ocnogyna Graslin, [1837], O. mooseri sp. n. is described from north-eastern Libya. The female of the new species is fully winged but differs from all known species groups of Ocnogyna in a number of diagnostic features and is also externally reminiscent of Tajigyna gansoni Dubatolov, 1990 endemic to Tajikistan. The diagnostic comparison is made with the North African Ocnogyna advena (Fabricius, 1787) having externally similar males but brachypterous females and to the externally dissimilar Ocnogyna parasita (Hübner, 1790) species group having the most similar female genitalia structures.

A new species of oribatid mite of the genus Papillocepheus is described from Malawi. Papillocepheus banari sp. nov. differs from Papillocepheus deficiens by the larger body size, the localization of dorsal notogastral setae, and the direction of posterior notogastral setae.

Nest aggregations of mud dauber wasps increase substrate heterogeneity and provide suitable sites for colonization by other invertebrate species. The mud dauber wasp Sceliphron fuscum Klug, 1801 (Hymenoptera: Sphecidae) abundantly occurs throughout the Seychelles Archipelago, Republic of Seychelles. Here, we estimated the taxonomic richness of the hymenopteran assemblage associated with S. fuscum’s nest aggregations, using material collected from the Inner Seychelles in 2016. Furthermore, we examine available historical survey data in order to assess possible changes in this association over decades. We discovered that from 1936 to 1938, seven hymenopteran species were associated with the nest aggregations of S. fuscum on Mahé and Praslin islands, representing six native taxa and one invasive species. From the material collected in 2016, we found one native and three invasive hymenopteran species associated to S. fuscum nests. Our findings could indicate a replacement of native species associated with the mud dauber wasps’ nest aggregations by recently introduced alien taxa on the Seychelles Archipelago.

A new genus, Solomonocartus Legalov, gen. nov., with a new species Solomonocartus bukejsi Legalov, sp. nov. belongs to the tribe Rhinocartini from Guadalcanal Island (Solomon Islands) is described and illustrated. This new genus differs from the genus Rhinocartus Voss, 1922 from Western Africa in the long antennae inserted in the basal third of the rostrum and almost reaching the middle of the elytra, almost straight sides of the pronotum, long ventrite 2, and larger body sizes. It is the first record of the tribe Rhinocartini from the South Pacific and the second find of Rhynchitidae from the Solomon Islands.

Currently, 128 species of Curculionid beetles (Anthribidae – 3, Rhynchitidae – 11, Attelabidae – 11, Brentidae – 7 and Curculionidae – 92 and Scolytidae – 4) are first found in the Bolshekhekhtsirsky Nature Reserve. In total, 104 species are first found in the reserve for the first time. There are the first record of 25 species, Thompsonirhinus (Maculinvoles) mandschuricus (Voss, 1939), Protapion apricans (Herbst, 1797), Protapion fulvipes fulvipes (Foureroy, 1785), Oxystoma cerdo (Gerstaecker, 1854), Trichapion simile (Kirby, 1811), Stenopterapion (Stenopterapion) meliloti (Kirby, 1808), Eutrichapion (Eutrichapion) viciae (Paykull, 1798), Dorytomus nordenskioldi Faust, 1882, Dorytomus suvorovi Reitter, 1911, Cossonus (Caenocossonus) tibialis Folwaczny, 1964, Rhinoncomimus (Homorosomulus) latipes Korotyaev, 1997, Zacladus (Amurocladus) asperulus (Faust, 1893), Ceutorhynchus albosuturalis (Roelofs, 1875), C. nitidulus Faust, 1887, Glocianus punctiger (C.R. Sahlberg, 1835), Nedyus quadrimaculatus (Linnaeus, 1758), Tachyerges pseudostigma (Tempere, 1982), Rhinusa (Rhinusa) brisouti (Faust, 1891), Cleopomiarus mandschuricus (Voss, 1952), Tychius (Tychius) albolineatus Motschulsky, 1860, Otiorhynchus (Pendragon) ovatus (Linnaeus, 1758), Phyllolytus variabilis (Roelofs, 1873), Polydrusus (Eustolus) corruscus Germar, 1824, Pseudocneorhinus longisetosus Morimoto, 2015, and Hylesinus eos Spessivtsev, 1919 for Khabarovsk Krai and Curculio inornatus Kwon et Lee, 1990 for the Russian fauna.

A new species, Notaris (Asionotaris) temreshevi Legalov, sp. nov. from Trans-Ili Alatau (Kazakhstan) is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to N. (A.) imprudens Faust, 1885 from Kyrgyzstan but differs from it in the smaller body sizes, the pronotum punctate by large points, densely punctate elytral interstriae with long setae, and the apex of the aedeagus weakly extended forward. A distribution map for N. (A.) temreshevi Legalov, sp. nov. and N. (A.) imprudens is given.
