Two new genera and two new species of eriophyoid mites viz., Propeaciota genusetosis n. gen. and n. sp. infesting Acer sp. (Aceraceae) and Spinaephyes alnus n. gen. and n. sp. infesting Alnus nepalensis D. Don (Betulaceae) are described in the tribe Tegonotini (Eriophyidae: Phyllocoptinae) from North Bengal, India. Aciota secundum Flechtmann et al.1995 is re-assigned (n. comb.) to Propeaciota. Relationships of the new genera with other eriophyoid genera are discussed.

Eight new taxa of Eriophyidae mites associated with native trees in the Cupania genus—C. oblongifolia Mart. and C. impressinervia Acev (Sapindaceae)—from the Atlantic Forest in Brazil, are described and illustrated. They include two new genera and two new species of Nothopodinae, Colopodacini (Setibia domatiagena   gen. nov., sp. nov. and Aricolopodos alagoensis gen. nov., sp. nov.), one new genus and two new species of Cecidophyinae, Colomerini (Euryslobos keronidos gen. nov., sp. nov. and Gammaphytoptus cupanius sp. nov.), and one new species of Phyllocoptinae, Tegonotini (Shevtchenkella caboata sp. nov.).

The paramunnid genera Austrosignum Hodgson, 1910 (type species A. glaciale Hodgson, 1910) and Munnogonium George & Strömberg, 1968 (type species M. waldronense George & Strömberg, 1968) are re-diagnosed. Twenty seven species are reviewed. Austrosignum is restricted to two described species, Munnogonium to five described species. The remaining 20 species are placed in the following eight new genera: Boreosignum (type species Austrosignum maltinii Schiecke & Fresi, 1972), Cryosignum (type species Paramunna lunata Hale, 1937), Meridiosignum (type species M. macquariensis sp. nov.), Tethygonium (type species T. quadricuspis sp. nov.), Quetzogonium (type species Austrosignum dentatum Winkler, 1994), Advenogonium (type species Austrosignum fuegiae Doti & Roccatagliata, 2005), Zizzygonium (type species Paramunna magellanensis Winkler, 1994), Kussakinella (type species Austrosignum spinosum Kussakin, 1982).

During a survey on Eriophyoid Mites in southwest of East Azerbaijan province (Iran), Aceria zygofabae n. sp. and Aceria alkannae n. sp. were found on Zygophyllum fabago L. (Zygophyllaceae) and Alkanna bracteosa Boiss. (Boraginaceae), respectively. They are described and illustrated here. Four further Aceria species were collected and identified as A. eucricotes (Nalepa, 1892), A. cynodonis Wilson, 1959, A. chenopodia Xue, Sadeghi & Hong, 2009 and A. tristriata (Nalepa, 1890) (protogyne and deutogyne). Aceria cynodonis is a new record for Iran Eriophyoid fauna whereas the other species were found for the first time in East Azerbaijan.

Two new species of eriophyoid mites (Acari: Trombidiformes: Eriophyoidea) were found on Zelkova carpinifolia (Ulmaceae) in Golestan Province, Iran. They are described as Tegolophus zelkofoliae sp. nov. and Rectalox dorsoenodis sp. nov. Both new species were vagrants on the leaf underside and no damage was observed on the infested plants. It is the first record of a species within the genus Rectalox from Iran.ts. It is the first record of a species within the genus Rectalox from Iran.

Two new species of eriophyoid mites inhabiting amaranthaceous plants in Egypt are described and illustrated. Aceria mosalahi sp. nov. heavily induces galls on leaves and stems of Chenopodiastrum murale (L.) S. Fuentes, Uotila & Borsch, while Aceria nudata sp. nov. induces red galls on the stems and leaves of Traganum nudatum Delile. Twenty-two Aceria species are known to inhabit plants of the Amaranthaceae family, and those inducing galls are listed here along with their diagnostic characteristic.

Since the phylogenetic analysis of the Herrichella clade (Ochlerini) new genera were described to fit monophyletic groups inferred and considered to be new taxa. The clade I supported by two synapomorphies of the female genitalia, grouped Alitocoris brunneus Sailer together to two new species. Alloeogyna gen. nov. is described here for this clade including the two new species Alloeogyna ampla sp. nov. and Alloeogyna poecila sp. nov. and a new combination is proposed for Alloeogyna brunnea comb. nov.. Also, Alitocoris maculosus Sailer recovered within the clade E in the Herrichella clade is here redescribed in the monotypic Sailerus gen. nov. resulting in the new combination Sailerus maculosus comb. nov..
