Arcobacter skirrowii is a species of veterinary importance, originally recovered from the feces, aborted fetuses, and preputial fluids of livestock. We present here the whole-genome sequence of the A. skirrowii type strain LMG 6621 (= 449/80T = CCUG 10374T), isolated in the United Kingdom from a lamb diarrheal fecal sample.

Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Mycobacterium immunogenum type strain CCUG 47286, a nontuberculous mycobacterium. The whole genome has 5,573,781 bp and covers as many as 5,484 predicted genes. This genome contributes to the task of closing the still-existing gap of genomes of rapidly growing mycobacterial type strains.

Paracoccus spp. are metabolically versatile alphaproteobacteria able to perform heterotrophic and chemoautotrophic growth. This study describes the whole-genome sequence of the Paracoccus pantotrophus type strain DSM 2944 (ATCC 35512, LMD 82.5, GB17). The genome sequence revealed the presence of a complete phaZ phaC phaP phaR gene cluster related to polyhydroxyalkanoate metabolism.

Arcobacter canalis was originally recovered from shellfish and from a sewage-contaminated canal. Arcobacter canalis is closely related to the marine bacterium Arcobacter marinus. This study describes the complete whole-genome sequence of the A. canalis type strain LMG 29148 (=F138-33T; =CECT 8984T), which was recovered from oysters.

This work reports the complete genome sequence of a chemoautotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacterium, Nitrosomonas stercoris strain KYUHI-ST (= ATCC BAA-2718T and NBRC 110753T). The assembled genome is composed of a circular chromosome and a large plasmid.

ABSTRACT Campylobacter cuniculorum is a thermotolerant species isolated from farmed rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus). Although C. cuniculorum is highly prevalent in rabbits farmed for human consumption, the pathogenicity of this organism in humans is still unknown. This study describes the whole-genome sequence of the C. cuniculorum type strain LMG 24588 (=CCUG 56289T).
