The object of the present paper is to introduce the notion of generalised almost statistical (GAS) convergence of bounded real sequences, which generalises the notion of almost convergence as well as statistical convergence of bounded real sequences. We also introduce the concept of Banach statistical limit functional and the notion of GAS convergence mainly depends on the existence of Banach statistical limit functional. We prove the existence of Banach statistical limit functional. Also, the existence GAS convergent sequence, which is neither statistical convergent nor almost convergent. Lastly, some topological properties of the space of all GAS convergent sequences are investigated.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concepts of almost statistical convergence and strongly almost convergence of generalized difference sequences of fuzzy numbers. We obtain some results related to these concepts. It is also shown that almost Δr λ - statistical convergence and strongly almost Δr λ - convergence are equivalent for Δr ‐bounded sequences of fuzzy numbers. Šio straipsnio tikslas supažindinti su beveik statistinio ir stipriai beveik statistinio apibendrintu fuzzy skaičiu konvergavimo savokomis. Straipsnyje taip pat parodyta, kad beveik Δr λ ‐ statistinis konvergavimas ir stipriai beveik Δr λ - statistinis konvergavimas yra ekvivalentus Δr λ - apribotoms fuzzy skaičiu sekoms.

In the present work, using the concept of A -statistical convergence for double real sequences, we obtain a statistical approximation theorem for sequences of positive linear operators defined on the space of all real valued B -continuous functions on a compact subset of the real line. Furthermore, we display an application which shows that our new result is stronger than its classical version.

Upon prior investigation on statistical convergence of fuzzy sequences, we study the notion of pointwise ??-statistical convergence of fuzzy mappings of order ?. Also, we establish the concept of strongly ??-summable sequences of fuzzy mappings and investigate some inclusion relations. Further, we get an analogue of Korovkin-type approximation theorem for fuzzy positive linear operators with respect to ??-statistical convergence. Lastly, we apply fuzzy Bernstein operator to construct an example in support of our result.
