Abstract Let F denote the factorable matrix and X ∈ {ℓp , c 0, c, ℓ ∞}. In this study, we introduce the domains X(F) of the factorable matrix in the spaces X. Also, we give the bases and determine the alpha-, beta- and gamma-duals of the spaces X(F). We obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions on an infinite matrix belonging to the classes (ℓ p (F), ℓ ∞), (ℓ p (F), f) and (X, Y(F)) of matrix transformations, where Y denotes any given sequence space. Furthermore, we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for factorizing an operator based on the matrix F and derive two factorizations for the Cesàro and Hilbert matrices based on the Gamma matrix. Additionally, we investigate the norm of operators on the domain of the matrix F. Finally, we find the norm of Hilbert operators on some sequence spaces and deal with the lower bound of operators on the domain of the factorable matrix.

In this paper we study the H-convergence property for the uniformly bounded sequences of square matrices $\left\{ A_{\varepsilon} \in L^{\infty} (D; \mathbb{R}^{n \times n}) \right\}_{\varepsilon > 0}$. We derive the sufficient conditions, which guarantee the coincidence of $H$-limit with the weak-* limit of such sequences in $L^{\infty} (D; \mathbb{R}^{n \times n})$.

AbstractRecently, S. K. Mahato and P. D. Srivastava [A class of sequence spaces defined by 𝑙-fractional difference operator, preprint 2018, http://arxiv.org/abs/1806.10383] studied 𝑙-fractional difference sequence spaces. In this article, we intend to make a new approach to introduce and study some lambda 𝑙-fractional convergent, lambda 𝑙-fractional null and lambda 𝑙-fractional bounded sequences over 𝑛-normed spaces. Various algebraic and topological properties of these newly formed sequence spaces have been explored, and some inclusion relations concerning these spaces are also established. Finally, some characterizations of the newly formed sequence spaces are given.

Let (Ω,F,μ) be a complete probability space, E a separable Banach space and E′ the topological dual vector space of E. We present some compactness results in LE′1E, the Banach space of weak*-scalarly integrable E′-valued functions. As well we extend the classical theorem of Komlós to the bounded sequences in LE′1E.

In this paper a special class of infinite nonlinear system of algebraic equations with Teoplitz matrix is studied. The mentioned system arises in the mathematical theory of the spatial temporal spread of the epidemic. The existence and the uniqueness of the solution in the space of bounded sequences are proved. It is studied also the asymptotic behavior of the constructed solution at infinity. At the end of the work specific examples are given.

AbstractIn this paper we will establish a result by Connor, Khan and Orhan (Analysis 8:47–63, 1988; Publ. Math. (Debr.) 76:77–88, 2010) in the framework of the statistical convergence and the strong Cesàro convergence defined by a modulus function f. Namely, for every modulus function f, we will prove that a f-strongly Cesàro convergent sequence is always f-statistically convergent and uniformly integrable. The converse of this result is not true even for bounded sequences. We will characterize analytically the modulus functions f for which the converse is true. We will prove that these modulus functions are those for which the statistically convergent sequences are f-statistically convergent, that is, we show that Connor–Khan–Orhan’s result is sharp in this sense.

Abstract Among the sets of sequences studied, difference sets of sequences are probably the most common type of sets. This paper considers some ℓp−type fractional difference sets via the gamma function. Although, we characterize compactness conditions on those sets using the main key of Hausdorff measure of noncompactness, we can only obtain sufficient conditions when the final space is ℓ∞. However, we use some recent results to exactly characterize the classes of compact matrix operators when the final space is the set of bounded sequences.

In the present paper we introduce the classes of sequence stcIFN, stc0IFN and st∞IFN of statistically convergent, statistically null and statistically bounded sequences of intuitionistic fuzzy number based on the newly defined metric on the space of all intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IFNs). We study some algebraic and topological properties of these spaces and prove some inclusion relations too.
