This paper analyzes the characteristics of solar cells, and establishes the simulation model from its mathematical expressions which can factually reflects the change of solar cells’ parameters. The commonly used method of maximum power point tracking technologies is introduced. A PV system’s most maximum power is simulated by using the fuzzy control method. Simulation results show that the system can work at a stable maximum power point rapidly.

Photovoltaic Array is nonlinear,and the power generated by it is influenced by sun light,temperature,load and so on In order to improve the system efficiency, firstly, analyzed the physical and mathematic model of photovoltaic array, through the MATLAB Simulink application software simulation tools, set up a computer simulation model of photovoltaic modules.Secondly,this paper gives the improved Perturbation and Observation Method and the Boost circuit used in the controller.after the analysis of some common maximum power point tracking algorithms and DC-DC circuits. Experiments shows that the controller method can rapidly to track the maximum power point,and increase the cell efficiency.

Based on the nonlinear of the photovoltaic device output power and the frequent changes in the work environment, a fuzzy controller with genetic algorithm was applied to maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of photovoltaic generation system. The problem of difference in the different interval of the maximum point was solved. It ensure that the system has a higher accuracy .By comparing the method of the fuzzy control and the method of fuzzy control with genetic algorithm through simulation , the result demonstrates the better control effect.
