In cloud computing security, privacy and data confidentiality plays important role when popularity in terms of cloud computing services is consider. Till now there are various schemes, protocols and architecture for cloud computing privacy and data protection are proposed which are based on data confidentiality, cryptographic solution, cipher text blocks, various transforms, symmetric encryption schemes, attribute-based encryption, trust and reputation, access control, etc., but they are scattered and lacking uniformity without proper security logic. This paper systematically reviews as well as analyze research done in this relevant area. First various shortcomings in cloud computing, architectures, framework and schemes proposed for data confidentiality will be discussed; then existing cryptographic schemes, encryption functions, linear transform, grid storage system, key exposure, secret sharing, AONT (All or Nothing Transform), dispersed storage, trust, block encryption mechanism, attribute-based encryption, access control will be discussed; thirdly propose future direction with research challenges for data confidentiality in cloud computing; finally focus is on concern data confidentiality scheme to overcome the technical deficiency and existing schemes.

In order to solve the trust problems between users and cloud computing service providers in cloud computing services, the existing trust evaluation technology and access control technology in the cloud computing service are analyzed. And the evaluation index of cloud computing is also analyzed. Users can calculate the relevant indicators of cloud computing service according to their own business goals, and choose the appropriate cloud computing services according to their own trust need. In addition, the reliability assessment method of users based on the service process is proposed. Cloud computing access control system can be used for user credibility evaluation, and it can handle user access requests according to user's creditability. In the study, a cloud computing service trust evaluation tool is designed, and the modeling and architecture designs of trust evaluation are also given. The effectiveness of the method is verified by experiments on cloud computing service evaluation methods.

Cloud Computing has offered many services to organizations and individuals. The emerging types of services such as analytics, mobile services and emerging software as a service have been offered but there is a lack of analysis on the current status. Core technologies for emerging Cloud services have been identified and presented. This brief opinion paper provides an overview of the current emerging Cloud services and explains the benefits for several disciplines. Four areas have been identified that may bring in more positive impacts for the future direction.

Cloud computing is the most prevailing paradigm, which provides computing resources and services over the Internet. Due to immense development in services provided by cloud computing, the trend to share large-scale and confidential data on cloud has been increased. Though cloud computing provides many benefits, ensuring security of the data stored in cloud is the biggest challenge. The security concern about the data becomes main barrier for adoption of cloud. One of the important security aspects is fine grained access control mechanism. The most widely used and efficient access control scheme for cloud computing is Attribute Based Encryption (ABE). The Attribute Based Encryption (ABE) scheme provides a new technique for embedding access policies cryptographically into encryption process. The article presents an overview of various existing attribute-based encryption schemes and traditional access control models. Also, the comparison of existing ABE schemes for cloud computing, on basis of various criteria is presented in the article.
