Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Bakunglor Blok Sigludug Kecamatan Jamblang Kabupaten Cirebon pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Juli 2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari: faktor pertama konsentrasi pupuk organik cair yang terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu: K0 =  0 ml/l air, K1 =  5 ml/l air, K2 = 10 ml/l air, dan K3 = 15 ml/l air. Faktor kedua macam kultivar Kubis Bunga yang terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu: V1 = Kultivar Snow White, V2 = Kultivar White Shot, dan V3 = Kultivar Best 50 Hibrida F1. Percobaan yang dilakukan terdapat kombinasi perlakuan sebanyak 12 dan masing-masing perlakuan diulang 3 kali, sehingga terdapat 36 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Kombinasi perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair terhadap tiga kultivar Kubis Bunga berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil Kubis Bunga. Hasil terbaik kombinasi perlakuan pupuk organik cair konsentrasi 15 ml/l air pada kultivar Best 50 Hibrida F1 menghasilkan kombinasi terbaik pada tinggi tanaman Kubis Bunga yaitu 51,53 cm dan jumlah daun sebanyak 22 helai. Sedangkan kombinasi perlakuan pupuk organik cair konsentrasi 15 ml/l air pada kultivar White Shot menghasilkan kombinasi terbaik pada diameter Kubis Bunga yaitu 25,33 cm dan bobot segar Kubis Bunga seberat 677,21 g. (2) Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair 15 ml/l air pada berbagai kultivar dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil Kubis Bunga, (3) Kultivar Best 50 Hibrida F1 memberikan respon yang baik pada tinggi dan jumlah daun kembang kol, sedangkan kultivar White Shot memberikan respon yang baik pada diameter dan bobot segar tanaman Kubis Bunga.

Male: Length 2.6-3 mm. Head, thorax, abdomen, legs and feet thickly white pruinose, but the ground color showing through; face moderately wide, wholly pollinose, this pollen yellow in the middle, reaching the orbits at the suture, sides of upper part narrowly, below the suture widely white pollinose, sonsetimes the yellow pollen covers most of upper part and extends onto the inner part of the palpi; palpi with snow white pollen, each nearly as large as upper part of face; antennae wholly yellow, small, arista whitish; orbital cilia white, rather long on the sides; occiput, front, thorax and abdomen reddish coppery, posterior margins of abdominal segments sometimes green ; bristles of thorax small, black; hairs of ahdomen very short, white; pleura and coxae black with ground color nearly concealed with white pollen, tips of coxae yellow; hypopygium small, with a long, straight, black appendage extending forward under the abdomen and small yellowish appendages inside of this long one; femora, tibiae and tarsi pale yellow, last two joints of all tarsi blackish; the minute hairs on all femora and tibiae white, the small bristles on tibiae black; fore tibiae with a row of long white hairs on upper surface, which are as long as diameter of tibiae and extend to fourth tarsal joint, becoming shorter towards the end; apical joint of middle tarsi very slightly widened; pulvilli not enlarged ; joints of fore tarsi as 20-8-6-5-7 ; of middle ones as 32-14-9-6-6; joints of posterior pair as 25-19-11-6-7.

O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar e agrupar rizobactérias, isoladas de hortaliças, quanto à morfologia cultural, riqueza e diversidade e avaliar a biossíntese de autoindutores N-acil lactonas homoserinas (ALH) e a capacidade de formação de biofilmes. Sete estirpes também foram avaliadas quanto ao potencial de promoção de crescimento de Brassica oleraceae var. acephala em casa de vegetação. Para verificar a produção de ALH, foram realizados ensaios com Agrobacterium tumefaciens estirpe NT1 como sistema repórter. A formação de biofilme foi avaliada pelo cultivo do isolado em meio líquido. A promoção do crescimento foi avaliada após inoculação das estirpes em plantas de couve-de-folha pela determinação da produção de massa de matérias fresca e seca. A maior diversidade morfocultural foi encontrada entre as estirpes isoladas de couve-de-folha. De um total de 112 estirpes testadas, 13% foram positivas quanto à produção de ALH; de 91 estirpes, 96% foram capazes de formar biofilmes; e de 79 estirpes, 11% foram positivas para ambas as características. Foram observadas diferenças significativas na massa de matéria seca das raízes com inoculação de 10(9) UFC mL-1 da estirpe R142, que incrementou em 55% a massa de matéria seca das raízes de couve, em relação ao controle. Não há relação entre a capacidade de formar biofilme e a detecção de ALH produzidos pelas rizobactérias avaliadas.
