Machine operating panel is an important component of controlling machine and the human-computer interaction. As CAN bus has the remote and stable transmission characteristic, the remote IO board is designed. A design of machine operating panel based on CAN bus for the PC-based CNC system is introduced, including the overall architecture design and software design method. This paper focuses on the remote IO board, as well as the practical application in the CNC system of TDNC-H8.

This chapter focuses on HCI aspects to overcome problems arising from technologies and applications that may hinder the normal teaching process in ICT-ready classrooms. It investigates different input devices on their usage and interactivity for classroom teaching and argues that pen-based computing is the mode of choice for lecturing in modern lecture halls. It also discusses the software design of the interface where digital ink, as a “first class” data type is used to communicate visual contents and interact with the ICT.

According to User-Centered Design, computer interactive systems should be implemented taking into account the users’ preferences. However, in some cases, it is not easy to apply conventional Human-Computer interaction evaluation techniques to identify the users’ needs and improve the user-system interaction. Therefore, this chapter proposes a procedure to model the interaction behaviour from the analysis of conversational agent dialog logs. A case study in which the procedure has been applied to model the behaviour of 20 children when interacting with multiple personality Pedagogic Conversational Agents is described as an illustrative sample of the goodness and practical application of the procedure.

Kinect marks the arrival of the era of body feeling interaction, which strides over a big step to the ultimate goal of the human-computer interaction (natural user interface). The Kinect is introduced in the aspects of composition, operation principle, function, development mode. In addition, the latest application examples in the fields except for games are also told. So, it has certain theoretical research and practical application value for the researchers and engineers that are eager for studying Kinect technology.

Abstract With the introduction of computer-aided industrial design into industrial design, it has brought huge economic effects to people's production and life. Especially for enterprise companies, computer-aided industrial design has shortened the cycle of enterprise research and development, and at the same time improved the quality of products. However, in the information age, effective and timely communication of information is very important. How to achieve computer-aided industrial design and human error, timely and effective communication has become a research focus and difficulty. At present, the research on computer-aided industrial design of human-computer interaction is limited to the research of interface design and virtual simulation technology, and there are few research and innovations of theoretical methods. This article will explore computer-aided industrial design in human-computer interaction technology. This paper will specifically analyze the user target drive and user behavior driven design methods and give detailed steps and methods of computer-aided industrial design based on human-computer interaction. At the same time, this paper proposes a method of adding form design to man-machine performance in the computer man-machine form design, and then proposes product shape design based on data information. At the same time, based on this, the morphological man-machine design information space is constructed. Experiments show that the design method proposed in this paper has a good performance advantage in computer-aided industrial design of human-computer interaction.
