The title compound lies about a crystallographic inversion centre located at the terephthalate moiety. The two peri-benzoylnaphthalene units having atrope chirality are also situated centrosymmetrically. In the two peri-benzoylnaphthalene moieties, two benzoyl groups are substituted at 1 and 8 carbons of the naphthalene ring in anti-orientation. Then two absolute configurations of peri-benzoylnaphthalene moieties are consequently assigned as complementary to each other, i.e., one unit has R,R-configuration and the other S,S-one, respectively. The two benzoyl groups in peri-benzoylnaphthalene moiety and the terephthalate phenylene ring are non-coplanarly located against the naphthalene ring. The dihedral angles of each benzene ring of two benzoyl groups and terephthalate unit with the naphthalene ring are 73.73 and 75.96, and 71.79°. In molecular packing, several kinds of weak interactions are responsible to induce three-dimensional molecular network. Especially, the synergetic effect realized through the bidentate hydrogen acceptor function in bidirectional C-H···π non-classical hydrogen bonds by the terephthalate phenylene ring moiety plausibly plays the determining role.

In the title compound, C18H15NO3, the isoxazole moiety adopts a shallow envelope conformation, with the C atom bearing the OH group displaced by 0.148 (1) Å from the mean plane through the other four atoms. The mean plane of this ring (all atoms) subtends dihedral angles of 87.19 (6) and 15.51 (7)° with the benzofuran ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.007 Å) and the 4-methylphenyl ring, respectively. In the crystal, molecules are linked by O—H...N hydrogen bonds, generating [001]C(5) chains, with adjacent molecules in the chain related byc-glide symmetry. Weak C—H...O interactions link the chains into a three-dimensional network.

The title compound, C28H18O2S, is composed of a naphthalene ring system fused with a benzothiophene ring and attached to two phenyl rings. The phenyl rings make dihedral angles of 70.92 (8) and 79.23 (8)° with the essentially planar naphthalene ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.031 Å). There is an intramolecular C—H...π interaction present. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds which generateC(7) zigzag chains running parallel to [10-1]. The chains are linkedviafurther C—H...π interactions, forming a three-dimensional structure.

The crystal structure of the title compound, 2C8H12N+·C8H3Cl2O4 2−, is stabilized by nine N—H...O and four C—H...O hydrogen bonds, and also by C—H...π interactions. Intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds form C(6) chains along the c axis. This chain and the other hydrogen bonds generate edge-fused [R 1 2(6)R 1 2(4)R 4 3(10)R 1 2(4)R 3 2(9)] motifs in a three-dimensional network. The dihedral angles between the carboxylate anion and the cation aromatic ring planes are 75.90 (2) and 68.15 (2)°, and the dihedral angles between the carboxylate groups and the anion aromatic ring plane are 13.72 (3) and 84.64 (3)°.

The title compound, C12H14N6O, consists of three pyrazole rings boundvianitrogen to the distal ethane carbon of methoxy ethane. The dihedral angles between the three pyrazole rings are 67.62 (14), 73.74 (14), and 78.92 (12)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by bifurcated C—H,H...N hydrogen bonds, forming double-stranded chains along [001]. The chains are linkedviaC—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional framework structure. The crystal was refined as a perfect (0.5:0.5) inversion twin.

In the title compound, C26H22N2O4, the pyrrolidine ring adopts a twisted conformation and the other five-membered rings adopt envelope conformations with the spiro C atoms as the flap atoms. The naphthalene ring system of the dihydroacenaphthylene group forms dihedral angles of 89.2 (9) and 75.5 (6)° with the pyrrolidine and indole rings, respectively. The pyrrolidine ring makes a dihedral angle of 80.1 (9)° with the indole ring. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along theb-axis direction.

In the title compound, C23H18N2O2, the pyrazole ring subtends dihedral angles of 2.01 (13) and 1.55 (10)° with the pendant benzene ring and the naphthalene ring system, respectively. The molecule is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation for the 27 non-H atoms = 0.025 Å) and intramolecular O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds both closeS(6) loops. In the crystal, very weak aromatic π–π stacking interactions between the benzene and the pyrazole rings, with centroid–centroid distances of 3.8913 (14) and 3.9285 (15) Å, are observed.

The three cyclohexenone rings of the title compound, C27H33N3O6, adopt slightly distorted envelope conformations, with the C atom bearing two methyl groups as the flap atom in each case. These cyclohexenone mean planes form dihedral angles of 87.41 (11), 70.73 (11) and 70.47 (11)° with the 1,3,5-triazine ring, while the dihedral angle between the cyclohexenone mean planes are 57.52 (12), 23.75 (12) and 53.21 (12)°.
