Motivated by the notion of the algebraic hyperbolicity, we introduce the notion of Nevanlinna hyperbolicity for a pair [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] is a projective variety and [Formula: see text] is an effective Cartier divisor on [Formula: see text]. This notion links and unifies the Nevanlinna theory, the complex hyperbolicity (Brody and Kobayashi hyperbolicity), the big Picard-type extension theorem (more generally the Borel hyperbolicity). It also implies the algebraic hyperbolicity. The key is to use the Nevanlinna theory on parabolic Riemann surfaces recently developed by Păun and Sibony [Value distribution theory for parabolic Riemann surfaces, preprint (2014), arXiv:1403.6596 ].

The goal of this paper is twofold. We study holomorphic curves f:C ? C3 avoiding four complex hyperplanes and a real subspace of real dimension five in C3 where we study the cases where the projection of f into the complex projective space CP2 is constant. On the other hand, we investigate the kobayashi hyperbolicity of the complement of five perturbed lines in CP2.

A projective manifold [Formula: see text] is algebraically hyperbolic if there exists a positive constant [Formula: see text] such that the degree of any curve of genus [Formula: see text] on [Formula: see text] is bounded from above by [Formula: see text]. A classical result is that Kobayashi hyperbolicity implies algebraic hyperbolicity. It is known that Kobayashi hyperbolic manifolds have finite automorphism groups. Here, we prove that, more generally, algebraically hyperbolic projective manifolds have finite automorphism groups.

AbstractWe present some fundamental properties of quasi-Reinhardt domains, in connection with Kobayashi hyperbolicity, minimal domains and representative domains. We also study proper holomorphic correspondences between quasi-Reinhardt domains.

We study the dynamics of post-critically finite endomorphisms of $\mathbb{P}^{k}(\mathbb{C})$. We prove that post-critically finite endomorphisms are always post-critically finite all the way down under a regularity condition on the post-critical set. We study the eigenvalues of periodic points of post-critically finite endomorphisms. Then, under a transversality condition and assuming Kobayashi hyperbolicity of the complement of the post-critical set, we prove that the only possible Fatou components are super-attracting basins; thus, partially extending to any dimension is a result of Fornaess–Sibony and Rong holding in the case $k=2$.
