We present a method for the estimation of the components ξ and η of the deflection of the vertical using several parameters of the gravitational potential. Specifically, we assume that we know the geodetic coordinates (φ, λ, h), the magnitude of gravity g, the components ξ, η and the second partial derivatives of the gravitational potential (elements of the Eötvös matrix) at a point P. Knowing only the geodetic coordinates of a neighboring point A (at a distance up to several kilometers from P), we estimate the components ξ and η at A. The proposed method is evaluated with simulated data at several points in Greece. The results show that it may be used for the densification of a given astrogeodetic net.

In the world of music, music has several types of genre genres that can be grouped, there are music genre pop, rock, blues, slow, jazz, metal, dangdut and many more. And for each person must have a genre favorite that is different from one another, but to distinguish it does not need to play music files one by one especially if the number of music files is a lot. Therefore, computer software is needed to distinguish each of these genres in order to make it easier for users to distinguish and group the types of music according to their wishes automatically. By using the MFCC and KNN methods as a classification solution to classify several types of genre streams can be easily resolved. The results achieved from this study reached 52,4% with a K = 13 as the nearest neighboring point.

We consider a circular array of point masses connected by springs of non-negligible mass. In the Lagrangian for the harmonic motions of this system, the movements of neighboring point masses are coupled through both the kinetic and potential energies. By use of transformations derived from the theory of projection operators, we simplify the Lagrangian and obtain the natural frequencies of the motions of the system as functions of the number of particles present. We note that for large numbers of particles, the results for our circular array will yield the frequencies of a one dimensional crystal.
