Vergleich zwischen gemessenen und berechneten Emittanz-Diagrammen von Elektronenkanonen Reaktionskinetische Untersuchungen an neutronenbestrahlten Alkalihalogenid-Einkristallen / Comparison of Measured and Computed Emittance Diagrams of Electron Guns

Emittance diagrams of electron guns were measured by means of a shadow method and compared with computed diagrams given in the literature. The calculated ray characteristics and particularly the paraxial ray data could be confirmed, but not the data for the spherical aberration constant. The experimental diagrams can be described by a fifth order parametric expansion of rayinclination and ray coordinate as a function of the ray inclination at the cathode. This expansion is compatible with an electron gun model consisting of two subsequent electrostatic lenses having third order aberrations only. A short survey on this article is given in 11.
