Abstract Coronary sinus abnormalities are usually associated with arrhythmia disorders when symptomatic. We report a 5-year-old 14 kg patient with a giant diverticulum of coronary sinus and Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. Catheter ablation therapy was decided during follow-up due to inadequate response to multidrug therapy. Posteroseptal and left posterolateral accessory pathways were established and radiofrequency ablation was performed successfully through coronary sinus.

Abstract Jejunal diverticula (JD) are a rare medical entity. They are often unnoticed, until complications occur. We report herein three cases of such diverticula, analyzed retrospectively, and depicting some of these complications: small bowel obstruction due to enterolith in a giant diverticulum treated surgically, incidental intraoperative finding on an anastomotic jejunal limb affecting the surgical plan and diverticulitis with anemia. In all three cases, the diagnosis of JD was unexpected, which illustrates the importance of being familiar with this disease for adequate management.

Abstract Background Esophageal diverticulum is rare and usually requires surgical treatment. Diverticular peroral endoscopic myotomy(D-POEM) is considered to be a novel technique that can be effectively used for septotomy in patients with esophageal diverticulum. Case presentation: A 73-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital, complaining of recurrent dysphagia for more than 8 years and aggravated dysphagia for 2 months. Esophagogram revealed a sac in the anterior esophageal region and gastroscopy showed a giant diverticulum in the mid-esophagus. He was treated with D-POEM and had good clinical outcome. The patient was discharged 6 days after operation and has been doing well, and no recurrence was observed. Conclusion D-POEM is an effective and minimally invasive method for esophageal diverticulum, but long-term efficacy remains to be proved by more studies.
