The construction industry is recognized as a high-risk industry given that safety accidents and personnel injuries frequently occur. This study provided a systematic and quantitative review of existing research achievements by conducting social network approach to identify current states and future trends for the occupational safety of construction personnel. A total of 250 peer-reviewed articles were collected to examine the research on safety issues of workers in construction industry. Social network approach was applied to analyze the interrelationship among authors, keywords, and citations of these articles using VOS viewer and CitNetExplorer. A knowledge structure map was drawn using main path analysis (MPA) towards the collected papers, which was implemented by Pajek. In line with the findings of social network analysis, five research groups, and six keyword themes were identified in accordance with the times of cooperation of researchers and correlation among keywords of the papers. Core papers were identified by using main path analysis for each research domain to represent the key process and backbone for the corresponding area. Based on the finding of the research, significant implications and insights in terms of current research status and further research trends were provided for the scholars, thus helping generate a targeted development plan for occupational safety in construction industry.

Psiche sets up a close-knit comparison between the psychology of Plato's Republic and Freud's psychoanalysis. Convergences and divergences are discussed in relation both to the Platonic conception of the oneiric emergence of repressed desires that prefigures the main path of Freud's subconscious, to the analysis of the psychopathologies related to these theoretical formulations and to the two diagnostic and therapeutic approaches adopted. Another crucial theme is the Platonic eros – the examination of which is also extended to the Symposium and Phaedrus – taken up explicitly by Freud in relation to the concept of libido. Finally, the author also addresses the two themes – of, inter alia, a metapsychological nature – inherent to the moral dimension.

This paper presents an N-path filter with high out-of-band rejection using feed-forward technique. The structure utilizes two four-path filters, one as the main-path and the other as auxiliary-path, and two TIAs to increase the order of the filter from two to four. As a result of this, and due to using two series resistors in the main path, the out-of-band rejection is significantly improved. Analysis and simulations show that the series resistors can be chosen such that the NF degradation is below 2[Formula: see text]dB while the out-of-band rejection is improved by about 20[Formula: see text]dB. Therefore, the trade-off between the insertion-loss and out-of-band rejection is relaxed compared to conventional N-path filter. Also, it is shown that decreasing the size of baseband capacitors improves the NF of the filter. The effect of clock phase-noise on NF of the filter in the presence of strong out-of-band blocker is modeled and simulated.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose a quantitative method for identifying multiple and hierarchical knowledge trajectories within a specific technological domain (TD). Design/methodology/approach The proposed method as a patent-based data-driven approach is basically based on patent classification systems and patent citation information. Specifically, the method first analyzes hierarchical structure under a specific TD based on patent co-classification and hierarchical relationships between patent classifications. Then, main paths for each sub-TD and overall-TD are generated by knowledge persistence-based main path approach. The all generated main paths at different level are integrated into the hierarchical main paths. Findings This paper conducted an empirical analysis by using Genome sequencing technology. The results show that the proposed method automatically identifies three sub-TDs, which are major functionalities in the TD, and generates the hierarchical main paths. The generated main paths show knowledge flows across different sub-TDs and the changing trends in dominant sub-TD over time. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, the proposed method is the first attempt to automatically generate multiple hierarchical main paths using patent data. The generated main paths objectively show not only knowledge trajectories for each sub-TD but also interactive knowledge flows among sub-TDs. Therefore, the method is definitely helpful to reduce manual work for TD decomposition and useful to understand major trajectories for TD.
