Abstract Let p(·) : ℝ n → (0, ∞] be a variable exponent function satisfying the globally log-Hölder continuous and let Θ be a continuous multi-level ellipsoid cover of ℝ n introduced by Dekel et al. [12]. In this article, we introduce highly geometric Hardy spaces Hp (·)(Θ) via the radial grand maximal function and then obtain its atomic decomposition, which generalizes that of Hardy spaces Hp (Θ) on ℝ n with pointwise variable anisotropy of Dekel et al. [16] and variable anisotropic Hardy spaces of Liu et al. [24]. As an application, we establish the boundedness of variable anisotropic singular integral operators from Hp (·)(Θ) to Lp (·)(ℝ n ) in general and from Hp (·)(Θ) to itself under the moment condition, which generalizes the previous work of Bownik et al. [6] on Hp (Θ).

AbstractIn this paper we provide non-smooth atomic decompositions of 2-microlocal Besov-type and Triebel–Lizorkin-type spaces with variable exponents $$B^{\varvec{w}, \phi }_{p(\cdot ),q(\cdot )}({\mathbb {R}}^n)$$ B p ( · ) , q ( · ) w , ϕ ( R n ) and $$F^{\varvec{w}, \phi }_{p(\cdot ),q(\cdot )}({\mathbb {R}}^n)$$ F p ( · ) , q ( · ) w , ϕ ( R n ) . Of big importance in general, and an essential tool here, are the characterizations of the spaces via maximal functions and local means, that we also present. These spaces were recently introduced by Wu et al. and cover not only variable 2-microlocal Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces $$B^{\varvec{w}}_{p(\cdot ),q(\cdot )}({\mathbb {R}}^n)$$ B p ( · ) , q ( · ) w ( R n ) and $$F^{\varvec{w}}_{p(\cdot ),q(\cdot )}({\mathbb {R}}^n)$$ F p ( · ) , q ( · ) w ( R n ) , but also the more classical smoothness Morrey spaces $$B^{s, \tau }_{p,q}({\mathbb {R}}^n)$$ B p , q s , τ ( R n ) and $$F^{s,\tau }_{p,q}({\mathbb {R}}^n)$$ F p , q s , τ ( R n ) . Afterwards, we state a pointwise multipliers assertion for this scale.

In this paper, by using the atomic decomposition theory of Hardy space H1(ℝn) and weak Hardy space WH1(ℝn), we give the boundedness properties of some operators with variable kernels such as singular integral operators, fractional integrals and parametric Marcinkiewicz integrals on these spaces, under certain logarithmic type Lipschitz conditions assumed on the variable kernel Ω(x, z).

Abstract The well known result of Bourgain and Kwapień states that the projection $$P_{\le m}$$ P ≤ m onto the subspace of the Hilbert space $$L^2\left( \Omega ^\infty \right) $$ L 2 Ω ∞ spanned by functions dependent on at most m variables is bounded in $$L^p$$ L p with norm $$\le c_p^m$$ ≤ c p m for $$1<p<\infty $$ 1 < p < ∞ . We will be concerned with two kinds of endpoint estimates. We prove that $$P_{\le m}$$ P ≤ m is bounded on the space $$H^1\left( {\mathbb {D}}^\infty \right) $$ H 1 D ∞ of functions in $$L^1\left( {\mathbb {T}}^\infty \right) $$ L 1 T ∞ analytic in each variable. We also prove that $$P_{\le 2}$$ P ≤ 2 is bounded on the martingale Hardy space associated with a natural double-indexed filtration and, more generally, we exhibit a multiple indexed martingale Hardy space which contains $$H^1\left( {\mathbb {D}}^\infty \right) $$ H 1 D ∞ as a subspace and $$P_{\le m}$$ P ≤ m is bounded on it.
