In this work, a high piezoelectric activity (d33∼50 pC N−1) and a low dielectric loss (tan δ∼0.43%) have been obtained in high-temperature Bi1−x−ySmxLayFeO3 piezoceramics with x = 0.025 and y = 0.05.
