Abstract In this study, a new terahertz cross-shaped metamaterial bandpass filter is designed, simulated and fabricated. It provides a very good transmission coefficient and much lower unwanted frequencies than other filters do. The simulation is conducted by the CST STUDIO software and the FDTD method.
