The management information system based on Web GIS for monitoring of pipe-jacking engineering has been developed. The framework and emphasis of the system is introduced. The C/S( Client / Server ) structure is employed for information sharing and team cooperation; and the system has great performance under network circumstances. All the features make it as a powerful information platform for foundation pit monitoring. This system realizes the publication of the monitoring data through the network, and realizes the monitoring data visualization, real-time alarm warning function, has the vital significance to the construction safety management, monitoring information management, project risk control etc.
