In order to realize information sharing and interchange of complex product multidisciplinary collaborative design (MCD) design process and resources. The Process integrated system control of product multidisciplinary collaborative design was analyzed firstly in this paper, then design process of complex product for supporting multidisciplinary collaborative was introduced, a detailed description is given of the organization structure and modeling process of MCD-oriented Integration of Product Design Meta-model ; and concrete implement process of process integrated system control method was introduced to effectively realize information sharing and interchange between product design process and resources.

In order to deal with complex product design optimization problems with both discrete and continuous variables, mix-variable collaborative design optimization algorithm is put forward based on collaborative optimization, which is an efficient way to solve mix-variable design optimization problems. On the rule of “divide and rule”, the algorithm decouples the problem into some relatively simple subsystems. Then by using collaborative mechanism, the optimal solution is obtained. Finally, the result of a case shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the new algorithm.

This paper established a decomposition hierarchical network model of project level collaborative design process, based on work breakdown structure WBS, for character complex product collaborative design in dynamic alliance. The workflow of product collaborative design was established using time sequence Petri net, and the key assignment which has influence on design schedule and all design time were solved, after analyzing and comparing existing model method of collaborative design. And then experiments were used to verify. Theses technology support time management of workflow in project collaborative and shorten development cycle of collaborative project.

With the design teamdevelopment and the design data quality improvement, the problems in the process of design appear constantly, such as collaborative design, data security managementand dataremote processing. In order to solve these problems, we begin to research and implementation of design datamanagement andprocessing system (DDMP). The system adopts B/S architecture. Through online operations (accept task, review data, etc.), as well as strict management of the system data to realize long distance collaborative design. System respectively from the platform environment, data management, and user access control three aspects to ensure the safety of system. At last, DDMP integrates with rendering and 3D printing platform torealizeremoteprocessing ofdesign data.

Abstract This paper describes the change management capabilities of a data management model to support engineering design. Specifically, it addresses the problem of detecting changes made to a design during a CAD session and efficiently maintains an evolving description of a primitive entity through the design process. We propose a hierarchical versioning model to support the independent evolution of alternative deigns for a primitive entity and provide operators to store and manage changes among versions in a particular derivation hierarchy. In addition, we present a scheme to represent the version model in a CAD paradigm. The version model presented in this paper is a component of a larger data management model of versions, assemblies, configurations to address the change management needs of collaborative design.
