‘Candidatus Phytoplasma pruni’ infection in cherries causes small, misshapen fruit with poor color and taste, rendering the fruit unmarketable. However, this is a disease with a long development cycle and a scattered, non-uniform symptom distribution in the early stages. To better understand the biology as well as the relationship between pathogen titer and disease expression, we carried out seasonal, spatial, and temporal examinations of ‘Ca. P. pruni’ titer and distribution in infected orchard-grown trees. Sequential sampling of heavily infected trees revealed marked seasonal patterns, with differential accumulation in woody stem and leaf tissues, and most notably within fruit in the early stages of development from bloom to pit hardening. Furthermore, mapping phytoplasma distribution and titer in trees at different stages of infection indicated that infection proceeds through a series of stages. Initially, infection spreads basipetally and accumulates in the roots before populating aerial parts of the trees from the trunk upwards, with infection of specific tissues and limbs followed by an increasing phytoplasma titer. Finally, we observed a correlation between phytoplasma titer and symptom severity, with severe symptom onset associated with 3-4 orders of magnitude more phytoplasma than mild symptoms. Cumulatively, these data aid in accurate sampling and management decision making and furthers our understanding of disease development.

Background: Nutrition in the first five years of life is very important because at this time physical and brain development is most rapid. Nutrition at this time will affect future developments (Data, Information and Health, 2016). Anthropometric monitoring is also needed, as an initial screening of nutritional problems, including stunting and wasting, to facilitate interventions to be carried out to prevent long-term effects and the next stage in the toddler development cycle (Ramos, Dumith and César, 2015). The research method used in this study was case control, while the research was conducted from April to September 2020. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between biopsychosocial and stunting in children under five years in the stunting locus area, West Tapalang District. Method: This study uses a case control research design with the number of respondents each as many as 57 people. The sampling method used is total sampling Results: There is a statistical relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting. The p value is 0.01 with an OR value of 0.38. Meanwhile, maternal height has a p value of 0.84 (OR 1.08), family support has a p value of 0.49 (OR 0.49), exposure to cigarette smoke has a p value of 0.09 (OR 0.31) and socioeconomic has no statistical relationship. Conclusion: There is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting. Meanwhile, maternal height, family support, and exposure to cigarette smoke did not show a statistical relationship with the incidence of stunting Key words: Stunting, Toddler, psychosocial.

The digital signal processing (DSP) processor-in-the-loop tests based on automatic code generation technology are studied. Firstly, the idea of model-based design is introduced, and the principle and method of embedded code automatic generation technology are analyzed by taking the automatic code generation of the DSP control algorithm for pulse width modulation (PWM) output as an example. Then, the control system model is established on MATLAB/Simulink. After verifying the model through simulation, the target board platform is established with DSP as the core processor, and the automatically generated code is tested by the processor-in-the-loop (PIL). The results show that the technology greatly shortens the development cycle of the project, improves the robustness and consistency of the control code, and can be widely used in the complex algorithm development process of the controller, from intelligent design and modeling to implementation.

AbstractPreliminary aircraft design and cabin design are essential and well-established steps within the product development cycle for modern passenger aircraft. In practice, the execution usually takes place sequentially, with the preliminary design defining a basic cabin layout and the detail implementation following in a subsequent step. To enable higher fidelity assessment of the cabin early in the design process—for example by means of virtual reality applications—this paper proposes an interface, which can derive detailed 3D geometry of the fuselage from preliminary design data provided in the Common Parametric Aircraft Configuration Schema (CPACS). This is a key step towards integration of cabin analysis and preliminary design in automated collaborative aircraft design chains, not only in terms of passenger comfort, but also manufacturability or crash safety. Like the TiGL Geometry Library for CPACS, the interface presented acts as a parameter engine, which translates data from CPACS into CAD geometry using the Open Cascade Technology library. However, the scope of TiGL is expanded significantly, albeit with an explicit focus on the fuselage, by including more details such as extruded frame and stringer profiles and floor structures. Furthermore, advanced knowledge management techniques are employed to detect and augment missing data. For virtual reality applications, triangulated representations of the CAD geometry can be provided in established exchange formats, creating an interface to common visualization platforms. Additionally, a new evolution of the cabin definition schema in CPACS is presented, to incorporate models of cabin components such as seats or sidewall panels enabling immersive virtual mock-ups.

This study successfully established a strip warpage simulation model of the flip-chip process and investigated the effects of structural design and process (molding, post-mold curing, pretreatment, and ball mounting) on strip warpage. The errors between simulated and experimental values were found to be less than 8%. Taguchi analysis was employed to identify the key factors affecting strip warpage, which were discovered to be die thickness and substrate thickness, followed by mold compound thickness and molding temperature. Although a greater die thickness and mold compound thickness reduce the strip warpage, they also substantially increase the overall strip thickness. To overcome this problem, design criteria are proposed, with the neutral axis of the strip structure located on the bump. The results obtained using the criteria revealed that the strip warpage and overall strip thickness are effectively reduced. In summary, the proposed model can be used to evaluate the effect of structural design and process parameters on strip warpage and can provide strip design guidelines for reducing the amount of strip warpage and meeting the requirements for light, thin, and short chips on the production line. In addition, the proposed guidelines can accelerate the product development cycle and improve product quality with reduced development costs.

Assessment is the cornerstone of competency-based higher education because the outcome of the assessment ultimately determines whether the student has demonstrated competence in a job-related skill and is thus able to advance in one's career. As a result, the assessment development process must be sufficiently thorough and data-driven to produce high quality assessments. To address concerns and changes in higher education, a multi-stage, longitudinal assessment development cycle is proposed. In Stage 1, assessment specifications and design are established. Stage 2 culminates in the building of assessment forms and standard setting. Stage 3 involves administration and scoring of assessments. Stage 4 focuses on evaluating the validity of assessments via several assessment quality indicators (AQIs). Finally, these stages repeat over time due to a variety of factors such as aberrations in the AQI metrics and the results of large-scale validity studies, resulting in continuous quality improvement of assessments.

Abstract The success of Phasmarhabditis hermaphrodita (Schneider) Andrássy (Rhabditida: Rhabditidae) as a biological control agent of molluscs has led to a worldwide interest in phasmarhabditids. However, scant information is available on the lifecycle development of species within the genus. In the current study, the development of P. hermaphrodita, Phasmarhabditis papillosa, Phasmarhabditis bohemica and Phasmarhabditis kenyaensis were studied using ex vivo cultures, in order to improve our understanding of their biology. Infective juveniles (IJs) of each species were added to 1 g of defrosted homogenized slug cadavers of Deroceras invadens and the development monitored after inoculated IJ recovery, over a period of eight–ten days. The results demonstrated that P. bohemica had the shortest development cycle and that it was able to produce first-generation IJs after eight days, while P. hermaphrodita, P. papillosa and P. kenyaensis took ten days to form a new cohort of IJs. However, from the perspective of mass rearing, P. hermaphrodita has an advantage over the other species in that it is capable of forming self-fertilizing hermaphrodites, whereas both males and females are required for the reproduction of P. papillosa, P. bohemica and P. kenyaensis. The results of the study contribute to the knowledge of the biology of the genus and will help to establish the in vitro liquid cultures of different species of the genus.

From time immemorial people began to domesticate wild animals and throughout many generations, they are kept by people genetically isolated from external pathogens. In the prevailing era, every pet owner is trying to breed and protect his animal from contagious and noncontagious diseases. Having said that, lack and inadequacy of knowledge and mass media on simple preventive measures results in the widespread occurrence of infectious and invasive diseases, including flea, Ctenocephalides felis infestation among dogs as well as cats. The present paper primarily attempts to present the results of therapeutic efficiency of Komfortis, Foresto, and Fitoelita medical agents used during flea infestation among domestic cats. In order to meet the purpose of the study, research was carried out within the framework of study and analysis of the epizootic state of invasive diseases of agricultural and unproductive animals, bees, and birds. Studies of changes in the species composition, and bioecological patterns of the development cycle of parasites under shifting boundaries of their ranges were also done. For the study, the animals were divided into three groups of 10 animals each. Standard clinical and hematological research methods were used during the study. Blood sampling included three stages: before insecticide treatment, the intermediate interval of 15 days, and the final stage. Based on the results obtained, it was found that Komfortis and Foresto have 100% therapeutic efficacy at all stages of flea development and possess a long-lasting action duringa flea infestation. The morphological blood analysisshowed that the proposed medical agents have no toxic orsideeffects.
