Fe2O3 modified Li4Ti5O12 anode material with differing content of Fe2O3 was synthesized for the first time by the molten salt method. The Li4Ti4.8Fe0.2O12 electrode showed the best rate performance and superior cycling stability.

Co2(OH)3Cl exhibits a deformed pyrochlore structure regarded as a solid solution of Co(OH)2and CoCl2, so Co2(OH)3Cl xerogel as anode material can display superior electrochemical performance with the merits of both high theoretical capacity of Co(OH)2and good cycling stability of CoCl2.
