Tower crane belongs to high risk equipment in the construction site. Evaluating safety statement of tower crane is a subject of the technical field. The paper setups a new way to evaluate the safety statement of tower crane by means of fuzzy assessment theory. Membership functions have been established for describing the influencing factors of tower crane safety. Fuzzy comprehensive assessment model for evaluating tower crane safety statement has been established. Finally an example for illustrating the method of using the fuzzy comprehensive assessment to analyzing the tower crane safety statement.

Based on the function level of a gas turbine generator, this paper presents a method for the quantitative assessment of the health condition of a gas turbine generator by using fuzzy comprehensive assessment (Fuzzy) and an analysis hierarchy process (AHP). First, the failure mode, effects and criticality analysis method (FMECA) is used to construct the assessment framework and obtain the indicator set for the health assessment. The membership degree of each indicator is realized by using triangular and trapezoidal membership functions. Second, the fuzzy comprehensive assessment model with analysis hierarchy process (Fuzzy-AHP) is established to implement the quantitative assessment of the health condition of the gas turbine generator, and the man-made influence on the weight assignment is decreased. Finally, an example of a three-shaft gas turbine generator health assessment is provided to validate and prove that the method is effective and feasible.

Based on the established index system of Community environmental landscape, the Community environmental landscape was evaluated by the second level fuzzy comprehensive assessment model and its quality was divided into outstanding, good, general, poor and bad five grades. In this paper, the Community environmental landscape was comprehensively analyzed by ascertaining the weight coefficient of index and membership functions. Take Zhengzhou People's Community for example, this paper puts forward a new idea of evaluating the Community environmental landscape.

The fuzzy comprehensive assessment method has proven effective in increasing the understanding of complex systems, including environmental systems. A fuzzy comprehensive assessment model of environmental impact of petroleum project is presented. The model utilizes factor set to represent environmental impact factors and evaluation set to environmental impact level. And it constructs the evaluation index system based on "pressure-state-response" model, and selects advantage indicators using the analysis hierarchy process, and determines the grading standard of environmental impact level. The results produced by this model reveal the degree of environmental impact caused by petroleum project.
