The asymmetric unit of the title compound, dipotassium bis[hexaaquanickel(II)] tris(μ2-methylenediphosphonato)tripalladium(II) hexahydrate, K2[Ni(H2O)6]2[Pd3{CH2(PO3)2}3]·6H2O, consists of half a {[Pd{CH2(PO3)2}]3}6−anion [one Pd atom (4e) and a methylene C atom (4e) occupy positions on a twofold axis] in a rare `handbell-like' arrangement, with K+and [Ni(H2O)6]2+cations to form the neutral complex, completed by three solvent water molecules. The {[Pd{CH2(PO3)2}]3}6−units exhibit close Pd...Pd separations of 3.0469 (4) Å and are packedviaintermolecular C—H...Pd hydrogen bonds. The [KO9] and [NiO6] units are assembled into sheets coplanar with (011) and stacked along the [100] direction. Within these sheets there are [K4Ni4O8] and [K2Ni2O4] loops. Successive alternation of the sheets and [Pd{CH2(PO3)2}]3units parallel to [001] produces the three-dimensional packing, which is also supported by a dense network of hydrogen bonds involving the solvent water molecules.

The asymmetric unit consists of one Co2+cation, which is located on a center of inversion, as well as one selenocyanate anion, one 2,6-bis(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)pyridine ligand and one water molecule in general positions. Intermolecular O—H...N hydrogen bonds join the complex molecules into layers parallel to thebcplane. The layers are linked by C—H...N and C—H...Se hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 3C10H8N2·2C7H7NO2, consists of three molecules of 4,4′-bipyridine (bpy) and two molecules of 3-aminobenzoic acid (bza). Two molecules of bza and two molecules of bpy are connectedviaO—H...N, N—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming forming infinite double-stranded zigzag chains along thecaxis. The third molecule of bpy is linked to the chain by weak C—H...O interactions. Adjacent chains are linked via π–π interactions [centroid–centroid distances = 3.759 (3)–3.928 (3) Å] involving the pyridine rings of bpy molecules, resulting in a sheet-like structure parallel to (100). These sheets are stackedviaC—H...π interactions, resulting finally in the formation of a three-dimensional supramolecular structure.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazin-1-ium cyanoacetate monohydrate, C3H7N6 +·NCCH2COO−·H2O, consists of a melaminium cation, a cyanoacetate anion and a water molecule, which are connected to each other via N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating an eight-membered ring. In the crystal, the melaminium cations are connected by two pairs of N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming tapes along [110]. These tapes develop a three-dimensional network through N—H...O, O—H...O, N—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds between the cations, anions and water molecules.

In the title compound, [Cu2(OH)2{C12H7N2(PO3C2H5)}2(H2O)2]·7H2O, two Cu2+cations are bridged by two hydroxide groups, forming a centrosymmetric binuclear complex. Each Cu2+cation is further coordinated by the N atoms of a bidentate ethyl (1,10-phenanthrolin-3-yl)phosphonate anion and a water molecule in a square-pyramidal geometry. In the crystal, a network of O—H...O hydrogen bonds involving the P(O)(O−)(OEt) groups, bridging hydroxyl groups, coordinated and uncoordinated water molecules generates a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The ethyl group exhibits disorder and was modelled over three sites with occupancies of 0.455, 0.384 and 0.161.

In the title compound, [Mn(C10H6O7)(C12H10N2)(H2O)2]nor [Mn(HOABDC)(bpe)(H2O)2]n[H3OABDC is 5-(carboxymethoxy)isophthalic acid and bpe is 1,2-bis(pyridin-4-yl)ethylene], each MnIIcation is at the centre of a distorted octahedron formed by three carboxylate O atoms from three different HOABDC2−ligands, one pyridyl N atom from the terminal bpe ligand and two water molecules. The flexible oxyacetate group bound to a methylene C atom of the HOABDC2−ligand links the MnIIcentres into –Mn—O—C—O—Mn– chains, and the carboxylate group bound directly to the benzene ring extends the chains into two-dimensional layers which lie parallel to the (010) plane and present herringbone patterns. Intermolecular O—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds connect the layers into a three-dimensional supramolecular structure.

In the title compound, {[Cu2Na2(C10H2O8)1.5(H2O)6]·H2O}n, the Cu2+ion is hexacoordinated by five O atoms from benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylate (btec4−) ligands and one water molecule. The Na+ion is also hexacoordinated, by four O atoms from btec4−ligands and two water molecules. One of the two btec4−molecules sits on a crystallographic inversion centre. CuO6and NaO6octahedra are connected, forming bi-dimensional layers. These layers, which extend parallel to theacplane, are further interconnected by μ10- or μ11-bridging btec4−ligands and by O—H...O hydrogen bonds, involving both btec4−ligands and water molecules, forming a three-dimensional network.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Fe(NCS)2(C6H4N2)2(H2O)2]·2C6H4N2, comprises one FeIIcation occupying an inversion centre as well as one thiocyanate anion, one water molecule and two 4-cyanopyridine molecules in general positions. The iron cations are coordinated by two N-bonded thiocyanate anions, two (pyridine)N-bonded 4-cyanopyridine ligands and two water molecules into discrete complexes. The resulting coordination polyhedron can be described as a slightly distorted octahedron. The discrete complexes are connected through centrosymmetric pairs of (pyridine)C—H...N(cyano) hydrogen bonds into chains that are further linked into a three-dimensional network through intermolecular O—H...N hydrogen bonds involving the 4-cyanopyridine solvent molecules.
