The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C22H29N3O5S, contains two independent molecules, A and B, which differ slightly in the orientation of the ethyl and tosyl groups with respect to the attached pyrrolidine ring, as evidenced by the relevant torsion angles. In both molecules, the pyrrolidine and dihydropyran rings adopt envelope conformations, and are trans-fused. In molecule A, the tosyl group is equatorially attached to the pyrrolidine ring, whereas in B it is in a biaxial position. The pyrrolidine N atom exhibits sp 2 hybridization in molecule A and sp 3 hybridization in molecule B. In both molecules, the sulfonyl group has a distorted tetrahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked into a three-dimensional framework by C—H...O hydrogen bonds.

The title compound, C22H29NO4S, crystallizes with three independent molecules, A, B and C, in the asymmetric unit. Each of the three independent molecules adopts a folded conformation, with the phenylsulfonyl group lying over the pyranocyclohexanone ring system, and with the pyrrolidine and dihydropyran rings cis-fused. In all three molecules, the pyrrolidine ring has a twist conformation and the dihydropyran ring is in a half-chair conformation. The cyclohexenone rings adopt envelope conformations, with the flap atom puckered towards the phenylsulfonyl group in molecule A, and away from that group in molecules B and C, resulting in a different overall conformation for molecule A compared to B and C. In all molecules, the tosyl group is equatorially attached to the pyrrolidine ring. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked into a three-dimensional framework by C—H...O hydrogen bonds.

The asymmetric unit of the title CoIIcomplex, [Co(C13H8BrN2O)2], contains two independent molecules (AandB). In both molecules, the CoIIcation isN,O-chelated by two 2-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-4-bromophenolate anions in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. In moleculeA, both chelating rings display an envelope conformation, with the flap Co atom lying 0.614 (6) and 0.483 (6) Å from the mean planes of the remaining atoms. In moleculeB, both chelating rings are approximately planar, the maximum deviations being 0.039 (4) and 0.076 (3) Å. In the crystal, molecules are linked by classical N—H...O hydrogen bonds and weak C—H...O and C—H...Br hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional supramolecular network. Extensive π–π stacking is observed between nearly parallel aromatic rings of adjacent molecules with centroid–centroid distances in the range 3.407 (3)–3.850 (4) Å.

The title compound, C9H8N2O, crystallized with four independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The four molecules are linkedviaone O—H...N and two N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming a tetramer-like unit. In the crystal, molecules are further linked by O—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds forming layers parallel to (001). These layers are linkedviaC—H...O hydrogen bonds and a number of weak C—H...π interactions, forming a three-dimensional structure. The crystal was refined as a non-merohedral twin with a minor twin component of 0.319.

The title compound, C11H12N6O2, a π-conjugated triazene, crystallized with two independent molecules (AandB) in the asymmetric unit. Both molecules have anEconformation about the –N=N– bond and have slightly twisted overall conformations. In moleculeA, the imidazole ring is inclined to the benzene ring by 8.12 (4)°, while in moleculeBthe two rings are inclined to one another by 7.73 (4)°. In the crystal, the independent molecules are linked to each other by C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming –A–A–A– and –B–B–B–chains along [100]. The chains are linked by C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming sheets lying parallel to (001). The sheets are linked by further C—H...N hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions [centroid–centroid distance = 3.5243 (5) Å; involving the imidazole ring of molecule A and the benzene ring of moleculeB], forming a three-dimensional framework structure.
