This paper will detail the significant problems with the management of the textile industry in northeast Thailand and suggest a management strategy that will solve those problems. The objectives of this study are to study the factors affecting the organizational development of textile industries and to explore the guidelines for development of the operation and management of textile industries. For this research, data were collected and analyzed, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Researchers conducted interviews with 18 entrepreneurs in textile industries in northeast Thailand and analyzed the data by doing a content analysis. From the interviews, researchers discovered six influences on the organizational development of textile industries: 1) human resource management, 2) financial performance, 3) knowledge capital, 4) marketing management, 5) supply chain management, and 6) manufacturing management and technology. The quantitative research consisted of a questionnaire that was mailed to entrepreneurs. Multiple regression (SPSS) of this data was then performed. From this analysis, financial performance and human resource management were found to be the most significant issues that entrepreneurs should consider in the management of textile industries. To solve this problem, researchers suggest that entrepreneurs use strategic outsourcing to transfer part of their production to village enterprises. A coefficient of determination of R2 = 0.208 and Durbin-W Aston = 1.903 was obtained in the study

The involvement of personnel executives in the strategic planning of the enterprise is a controversial issue. Personnel has been considered a staff function which deals with day-to-day administration issues and as such has often been regarded with some contempt by the top management team. Concomitantly many firms are viewing the personnel function in an entirely different light; it now participates in the decision making of the company. The objectives of this paper are two fold: firstly to find a link between corporate strategy and human resource management and secondly, to find out whether personnel managers of quoted South African companies participate in corporate strategy formation. The company comprises of a number of varying dimensions and systems. Every organizational dimension and system must be consistent, not only with the strategy, but also with every other organizational dimension and system. The personnel department is often excluded from the corporate planning process. This exclusion represents a high cost to the total system due to less than optimum usage of an organization's human resources. This paper discusses the need for planning by management with particular reference to manpower planning in relation to corporate planning.

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of human resource management, production, marketing, working capital, organization, government policy, and competitor on the financial performance and competitiveness of Small-sized enterprise in Jayapura City. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires, the number of samples is 258 Small-sized enterprises in Jayapura. Data were analyzed by applying SEM (structural equation modeling analysis method by making use of Amos Software. The results showed that the factors of production and government policy factors affect the financial performance and competitiveness of small-sized enterprise in Jayapura. While human resource management, marketing, organization and competitors factors affect the financial performance of small-sized enterprise in Jayapura, but does not affect the competitiveness of small-sized enterprise in Jayapura and working capital factor does not affect the financial performance of small-sized enterprise in Jayapura but affect the competitiveness of small-sized enterprise in Jayapura. Then the financial performance factor affects the competitiveness of small-sized enterprise in Jayapura.
