Integration management is a significant factor of success in different types of organizations. Yet, the definition of integration management and ways to measure performance in a comprehensive framework need to be investigated in different environments. This paper analyzes the impact of integration management practices on company performance in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The study uses a questionnaire that was designed with constructs and dimensions following the literature review. The components of integration management are supply chain integration, supplier integration, customer integration, knowledge transfer with customers, and managing knowledge transfer channels with customers. A questionnaire was distributed among organizations in the UAE. Statistical analysis methods were employed to analyze 94 responses, e.g. reliability tests, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. The results show that integration management improves organizational performance to a considerable degree in the UAE. The impact of these practices was positive and significant on the performance of organizations, with an average correlation coefficient of 0.81. The comprehensive assessment for integration best practices and performance and their relationship are done for the first time in the context of the UAE organizations.

With the large number of fans of Roti Ganda outside the Pematang Siantar area, therefore an E-business implementation system is needed in the company. The use of e-business technology facilitates company performance and improves company quality. The application of this technology can expand the company's market share, especially the cost for advertising which is cheap compared to advertising on the street and mass media. There needs to be socialization and in-depth  learning as well as careful preparation before implementing e-business applications. In the process of designing the application of E-Business at a web- based Double Bakery Shop with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) approach, an explanation or theory is needed that can support and support success in making the information system and to explain to users how the functions and benefits of implementing E-Business are needed. on a web-based Double Bakery with a CRM approach.

This study aims to examine the effect of sustainable supply chain management on company performance mediated by competitive advantage, the subjects of this study were the actors of the pottery Joint Business Group (JBG) in Banten Province, Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive research and causal research using questionnaires distributed directly to the JBG Pottery actors as many as 100 respondents. Moreover, Structural Equation Model (SEM) in the SmartPLS Software version 3.0.m3 (SmartPLS GmbH: Bönningstedt, Germany) was used for data analysis. The results of the study found that sustainable supply chain management affects competitive advantage, company performance was also observed to be influenced by sustainable supply chain management and competitive advantage while company performance was also found to be affected by sustainable supply chain management through the mediating effect of competitive advantage. The significant implication of this study is for managers to ensure competitiveness in the process of implementing sustainability supply chain to improve company performance, while providing recommendations to the government through Disperindagkop and SMEs in conducting the assistance process to MSMEs.

The object of this research focuses on executive compensation, which is a form of appreciation for the agent’s contribution as the party responsible for the company performance and the improvement of the walfare of the principals. The aims of this study is to determine the effect of profitability and leverage on executive compensation in non financial companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 – 2019. Population of this study is non financial companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 – 2019 with a sample by non financial listed in Kompas100 index to represent the existing population. Independent variables used in this study are profitability which is measured by return on assets (ROA) and leverage which is measured by debt to equity ratio (DER). Dependent variable used in this study is executive compensation which is measured by total remuneration of president director. This study also used control variables such as executive age, executive gender and executive tenure. The sampling method of this study is a purposive sampling. The research model used is panel data with fixed effect model approach. The findings have shown that profitability has a negative significant effect on executive compensation. It is also noted that the lower level of the company’s debt, the larger the amount of executive compensation. These findings shed the light on research on agency theory that compensation on performance is not valid in Indonesia.

PurposeThis study aims to examine the links between company performance (CP) and supply chain (SC) orientation considering halal small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kazakhstan. The SC orientation framework integrates three aspects to determine CP, i.e. credibility, commitment and top management support.Design/methodology/approachHalal SMEs were reviewed; 271 valid responses were obtained and scrutinised, employing the partial least squares structural equation modelling technique.FindingsThe credibility of SC stakeholders performs the main impact on the CP of halal SMEs in Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, commitment and top management support show fewer influences, although they significantly impact CP.Originality/valueThis study confirms the relationships between SC orientation and CP from the perspective of halal SMEs. The social capital theory was applied to explain these relationships. It is the initial attempt to investigate such relationships in a post-Soviet Union country.

Human resources are very important in a business; however, the return on investment in human resources is longer than in fixed assets, so entrepreneurs frequently consider how much to actually invest. This article, based on primary research, examines the motivations for investment when a 20% profit is typically invested with a model return of around 14%. Those findings are supported by the results presented in Archetype models based on similarity clustering. The results are based on an empirical study (278 respondents, omnibus survey) in the Czech Republic. Moreover, the study concludes that the business experience positively influences human resource management and future development to increase the investment share. In essence, this article displays the paramount importance of human resources and human resource management in the international business environment, demonstrating that investments in human resources are crucial to the success of all businesses, positively and consistently supporting organizations’ performance, and entrepreneurship will continue to remain a vital component of the activities belonging to the post COVID-19 era. In addition, in an era governed by the influences specific to the knowledge-based society and the knowledge-based economy, in which intellectual capital will be considered one of the most relevant intangible assets of entities all over the world, the measurement of human resources investment will turn out to be essential for the success of all businesses, while taking the necessary steps in supporting sustainability, sustainability assessment and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This study used a sample of salespeople at various companies to substantiate a path model of innovativeness, customer orientation, and performance; thus, it offers a multi-disciplinary framework. Results indicated a moderating influence of company training programs on the relationship between customer orientation and performance, which can have several implications for human resource managers and sales contact employees. Two features, testing the influence of training activities and measuring customer orientation from the employees' perceptions, distinguish this study from previous studies.

This research paper deals with identifying the basic prerequisites for the IT companies’ development in terms of tightening requirements for personal data protection. The article aimed at assessing the impact of personal data protection policy on the company development through the assessment of the efficiency of the use of intangible assets. The following methods were used in achieving this aim: comparative analysis, the method of horizontal analysis of company performance, correlation and regression analysis, graphical analysis, as well as the method of expert survey of the impact of macro-environmental factors on the company profitability level. It is established that the degree of personal data protection of customers of IT companies directly affects the financial performance of companies and contributes to the development of IT companies. The article proves that poorly developed personal data protection system of Ukrainian companies is related to the regulatory framework of the creation and registration of personal databases. The main world trends in the development of personal data protection were identified through the study of the provisions of international policy frameworks as compared to the legislation of Ukraine. The main area of application of the results obtained by the author are IT companies, in particular in the management of profitability in the context of strengthening the personal data protection. The obtained results are a contribution to scientific achievements in the field of personal data protection and business development for Central European countries. This is primarily due to the novel research objective.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of supply chain management on competitive advantage in SMEs, the effect of competitive advantage on company performance in SMEs, and the influence of supply chain management on company performance mediated by competitive advantage in SMEs. This study uses quantitative methods and data analysis techniques based on Structural Equation Modeling using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The sample selection method uses non-probability sampling methods. Online questionnaires were sent to 340 SMEs respondents, the next step is to evaluate the returned 320 questionnaires. The results indicate that supply chain management had a significant influence on company performance and competitive advantage. Competitive Advantage also had a significant influence on company performance and played a mediate influence between supply chain management and company performance. The company's ability had a positive effect on competitive advantage and finally, adequate company capabilities had an impact on competitive advantage.
