Abstract With the development of intelligent distribution networks and the increasing demand for new energy access, the isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter has become a key link in modern energy transformation systems. In order to realize the functions of electrical transformation and electrical isolation of dc voltage, this paper proposes a structure of isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter, and analyzes it in detail. The proposed isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter can not only realize voltage transformation, but also have voltage regulation and fault isolation functions. Finally, based on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform, the proposed isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter topology is built and verified by simulation. The structure of isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter not only has the functions of voltage transformation and electrical isolation, but also has fault isolation, power flow control and other functions.

The accsess of large numbers of new energy and the difference of application requirements make information more huge and complex, different application system and different grid link has also a different protocol standards,All these make the visual display of information, unified modeling for power grid automation become complicated and trival. This article according to analysis the power grid stability and control theory, from the power grid stability and controlling ,the needed information and IEC61968 / IEC61970 / IEC61850 and other international standards are analyzed, and propose a power network information classification method, and get a power information classification, accord with smart grid construction and new energy access requirements. It can effectively direct building of power automation control model, control information interaction. Provide foundation support for grid unified modeling and the method of unified describe model.

Decarbonisation, energy security and expanding energy access are the main driving forces behind the worldwide increasing attention in renewable energy. This paper focuses on the solar photovoltaic (PV) technology because, currently, it has the most attention in the energy sector due to the sharp drop in the solar PV system cost, which was one of the main barriers of PV large-scale deployment. Firstly, this paper extensively reviews the technical challenges, potential technical solutions and the research carried out in integrating high shares of small-scale PV systems into the distribution network of the grid in order to give a clearer picture of the impact since most of the PV systems installations were at small scales and connected into the distribution network. The paper reviews the localised technical challenges, grid stability challenges and technical solutions on integrating large-scale PV systems into the transmission network of the grid. In addition, the current practices for managing the variability of large-scale PV systems by the grid operators are discussed. Finally, this paper concludes by summarising the critical technical aspects facing the integration of the PV system depending on their size into the grid, in which it provides a strong point of reference and a useful framework for the researchers planning to exploit this field further on.

Power generation becomes a main way of using new energy. However, the access of distributed generation(DG) causes the ordinary protection system develop a series of problems. In this paper, the structure of distribution network with DG is introduced firstly.Secondly,it is analysed that the effect that DG brings to distribution network protection, and then a new protection scheme of distribution network with DG is put forward. The segment I, II of direction three-current protection on the line which is at the upstream of DG, and the next line’s segment I, II consists of a simple communication unit. Through the comprehensive judgment of two protections’ action results, fault can be isolated in minimum range quickly and accurately. Finally, the correctness and feasibility of the new protection principle are verified by simulating a 10KV distribution system.
