Vet Comp Orthop Traumatol 2018; 31 (4): 229–238. Die vakuumassistierte Wundtherapie (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, NPWT) hat in den letzten Jahren in der Kleintiermedizin starken Einzug gehalten. In einer prospektiven Studie wurde dieses Verfahren mit der Anwendung eines silberbeschichteten Wundkissens hinsichtlich Wundheilungsrate, bakterieller Besiedelung der Wunde und möglicher Komplikationen verglichen.
