We calculate two-loop corrections to the coefficient functions of the condensates 〈G2〉0 and [Formula: see text] in the QCD sum rules for the light mesons in the vector, scalar and pseudoscalar channels, and three-loop corrections to the coefficient function of the condensate 〈G2〉0 in the (pseudo)scalar channel. We find that a renormalization-group analysis casts strong doubts on the feasibility of obtaining correct estimates for the coefficient functions via perturbation theory.

Abstract We present analytical results for massless correlators of two vector, tensor, and scalar composite vertices with the Bjorken fractions x and y of order $$ {\alpha}_s^2 $$ α s 2 β0 of QCD. The structure of these correlators ΠV,T,S(x, y; p2) and properties of its main elements are discussed in detail. Special attention is paid to verifying the results and comparing them with known particular cases. We apply the correlators to evaluate radiative corrections to the distribution amplitudes of light mesons within the QCD sum rules.

The form factors for the weak currents between B and light mesons are studied by relating them to the corresponding D form factors at [Formula: see text] according to HQET, by evaluating them at q2=0 by QCD sum rules, and by assuming a polar q2 dependence. The results found are consistent with the information obtained from exclusive non-leptonic two-body decays and, with the only exception of A1, with lattice calculations.
