FUZZY DYNAMIC RELIABILITY EVALUATION OF A DETERIORATING SYSTEM UNDER IMPERFECT REPAIR

This paper presents the dynamic reliability evaluation of the deteriorating system using the concept of probist reliability as a fuzzy number. Triangular fuzzy number (TFN) has been used to represent the reliabilities. Initial reliability is determined using the expert's judgment and probabilistic improvement factor is considered to indicate the maintenance effectiveness of 1P maintenance activity. Deteriorating system is represented by PAR model and fuzzy dynamic reliability estimation procedure is demonstrated with appropriate illustration. Using this fuzzy dynamic reliability, fuzzy hazard rate is computed.

In a system where it cannot be reduced to a pure series and parallel form (i.e., complex), reliability is obtained by universal generating function (UGF) technique. The intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFS) concept with triangular fuzzy number (TFN) and Weibull lifetime distribution is introduced to find the fuzzy reliability of the same system. Also, averaging operator with given equal weights is used with the set of three triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number. A numerical example is solved for demonstration.

Human activity is often accompanied by exposure of ionizing radiation: the exploitation of space systems and power plants, research using isotopic sources, medicine. The development of electronic equipment is regulated by carrying out activities to ensure the required reliability and radiation resistance. However, the effect of ionizing radiation on reliability indicators is not taken into account properly, or is not taken into account at all, that sometimes leads to the loss of expensive equipment and even to human victims. The article discusses the methodology for carrying out an adequate estimate of the reliability considering the influence of external influencing factors, including ionizing radiation. The timeliness of decisions making to ensure the required reliability indicators is determined by the completeness of the reliability estimation at the design stage. Effort to ensure the reliability and durability of devices after the design stage is not economically viable. The completeness and adequacy of the estimation always depends on the interaction of specialists in different fields: designers, programmers, experts in the field of circuit design, electrical engineering and experts in the field of reliability and radiation resistance.

A new comprehensive evaluation based on triangular fuzzy number method is put forward in this paper, according to the principle of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and using trichotomy to determine membership function. And a calculation example is illustrated by using the method presented. The method is a reference to the bid evaluation in the future.
